I was greeted when I walked in even though they just greeted the last group in front of us. Zach asked me what could he help me with, I informed him of my food allergies and he went to the back grabbed some things and I let him know what I wanted. While the other guy helped my friend, Zach and the woman were very helpful in helping me avoid possible reactions by preparing my delicious dessert separately. The environment was friendly, clean, and chill. My friend stated it was chilly, but its ice cream you know. Anyways, thanks for the adventure and good eats. Id definitely come again. I have OCD and cant rate 5 stars, so yeah, my bad.

Other than the gelato at Chocolaterie Stam downtown, Coldstone is the best in Ames. I could eat four or five of their Oreo Overload cones every day. It is just that good. Lots of flavors to pick from and unless its just after the movies let out or on a weekend night when the students are here you wont have a long wait. Prices are a tad high but worth it for the quality. Friendly employees too.

As a former employee only a little while ago, there have been major changes in quality from the time the new owners took over. The place is soo messy and just dirty. There is HAIR found in the ice cream constantly (practically every night). I dont mean to sound like an upset past employee, but for that expensive ice cream, you would think that there would be better quality.

This is the best place to get ice cream in town. I have been here multiple times, and it is always super clean, even when busy. Always stocked with every flavor and topping. The employees are very helpful, polite, and super fun to talk to. And the ice cream is very, very good, personally I recommend the coffee ice cream!

The girls were nice but as soon as we were served they disappeared in the back we had to call 3 times for them to come out to help us. We called them we rang the bell finially i opened the door and yelled we could use some help. I could see both were on there phones not talking but texting or what ever.

Its the best ice cream ever! As a former employee of a couple years ago, its a lot of fun and a great environment to work in. The staff is great and the higher ups are some of the best you could ask for! The place was super clean even after a really long and busy day. 5/5 for me!

I usually go here for dessert with my significant other and get a small specialty cup of ice cream. Ive never had a bad cup of ice cream here and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious ice cream treat!

It was ok good but the staff was less than desirable. Took forever to get my food and then when it did come it looked very sad. I got the Carmel Churro dessert. Dont bother.

Nice staff and good ice cream. Its a little on the pricy side, but you can make whatever you want. Pick toppings, and they mix it together on the cold table behind the glass.

Pretty cool place there is a guy that will throw your icecream in the air and catch it. Pretty chill. After 10 orders you get an order free.
