Very hit or miss. This morning the ladies behind the counter were palpably angry with one another. You could feel the tension between them. I ordered a caramel macchiato. Tall. Double. She put the milk in the cup, then brewed the 2 shots directly into the cup. She added too much milk, had to pull the cup away and I watched the espresso, I paid extra for, go down the drain. Sure glad I paid for that.

I was not impressed with that service or staff here. I frequent Starbucks multiple times a week and the staff here were sloppy and did not know their products. Two different employees tried to charge me full price for a Iced Coffee refill. For a beautiful, new store, the counters were filthy and sticky and the employees were so sloppy making drinks and it was not even busy.

We are lucky to have two Starbucks in Altoona. The stand alone is in a strip mall and has limited parking spots. The drive-thru is always very busy. I love to sit in one of the four soft chairs in the front Libby and watch the traffic on 8th Street. The service is fast. Prices are competitive.

Glad to have a Starbucks close. Normally really like this one but lately they have had a lot of turnover, which gets a little frustrating because drinks arent made correctly. And the new people tend to be a little rude when told the drinks are wrong. This is not good customer service.

They used to be so good but it all depends on who is in that day. They dont stick to standards and they make silly mistakes like not giving me brown sugar for oatmeal, giving me a blonde and a misto when I asked for a blonde misto and other little things like that.

Twice in two days my drinks have been incorrect. I ordered a hot peach tea and I have received it cold both times. Not to mention that all they have done is stand around and not paid attention to the customers in line. Not pleased with this location.

I love my local Starbucks store. Always friendly. I only wish it werent dominated by bar-stool seating. Otherwise its great and I dont have to ever set foot in Target for my Starbucks fix.
