I was excited to try this local coffee shop after hearing that they carried gluten free baked goods. So I was disappointed when I arrived and neither of the baristas knew any of the ingredients of the food. My friend (dairy allergy) and I (gluten allergy) asked what was allergen friendly. One of baristas quickly responded "I have no idea if they have milk and so I wouldnt be able to help you." I then asked if their soup contained any gluten to which I got a very similar response. The female barista that was working at least attempted to sound polite and made an effort saying "maybe we could check?" to which the other barista responded "nope, no way we can know." I will not be returning due to lack of customer service. If you dont have any allergies and dont care to know any of the ingredients in their food, then this could be a good place to try. It was nicely decorated and seemed like it had a lot of potential. I highly recommend making ingredients in your food available if you want to offer allergen friendly food.

Skip Starbucks and check out this place if youre in the area!!! Excellent espresso! I had the very best soy latte Ive found in the metro area at this quaint coffee shop. My girlfriends also enjoyed their drinks (mocha and Carmel latte). The sandwiches seemed over priced at $7, so we shared a blueberry muffin instead. Nice atmosphere and good service. Would recommend.

Delicious coffees, and many custom Sparrow Cafe drinks, with optional cafe treats from donut kabob with sprinkles to bacon donut or fresh scones, plus this cafe has an awesome atmosphere and beautiful local art floor to ceiling!

Yes - their coffee and espresso IS better. Ive enjoyed their full flavored americanos and lattes for more days than Id like to admit! Lots of flavor and no bitterness. Go here and enjoy Sheila and Jaspers hospitality.

Really great neighborhood coffee shop and more. Great beverages, pastries and sandwiches. The ambiance and staff are warm and inviting. The music is really cool. Good for working. Also great for kids and families.

Sparrow is one of the only coffee shops in Southwest around where I live that isnt a chain. Great coffee and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend stopping in and supporting local!
