Reverie is a hidden gem, and for many of us locals, the perfect escape from much of the suburban crowd that pack into joints like Spyhouse and Starbucks. Despite Reverie being a vegan establishment, the food is actually pretty darn good. Im not a vegan, and I eat here once or twice a week. Oh, and I have to give credit where the credit is due -- the beer selection is above-and-beyond. It seriously puts a lot of downtown bars to shame. They even have a sour on tap. I should also mention that their happy hour craft beer prices are $4+. Logistically, the interior is laid out nicely. It has an open floor plan, which makes it conducive to events and allows for a great deal of sunlight to flow in. The corner of Franky and Nicollet is also a great place to people watch. And events -- theres always something going on. And because its so casual, going to a show doesnt feel like much of a commitment. I believe they have entertainment just about every night, and its fairly diverse. If you enjoy exploring what the city has to offer, I recommend giving Reverie a shot.

This place is the bees knees and a bottle of ketchup. Not many places got the franglais bangles to throw down and go mega-vegan tasty delicious but this place got the cake turned it upside and made sure it was free of eggs and dairy and threw some dank pineapple on that. But thats just a metaphor, they dont serve that. But the thing is they could and it would be good. Really awesome jack fruit stuff, beer and wine selections, who cares if youre vegan that stuff tastes like what I imagine the lining of Jesuss heart tastes like (and I know youre thinking disgusting, but we Christians eat Jesus all the time and they aint complaining, so definitely definitely his heart lining, if it were vegan, it would be incredible, almost as incredible as these sandwiches). So yeah. Get your foodie on. Also the staff is personable friendly and prone to being awesome and silly and of quality conversation.

Quiet coffee shop by day, happening event venue by night. Their food is great, and its all vegetarian! The guacamole is really tasty, and I highly recommend any of their jackfruit sandwiches. The Cubano is fantastic, as is the berbere BBQ sandwich. Everything Ive tried on the menu there has been delicious. Their drink selection is also solid, with a wide variety of local craft brews on tap. Theres even a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, something that can often get overlooked by restaurants. Reverie has locally made sodas and kombuchas in addition to their tasty coffee drinks. Great place to go for working/studying during the day, or for local music and performances in the evenings. Nice, open space, and friendly staff!

I have been to Reverie multiple times since they opened and I will be returning in the future. Their food is delicious! I have tried their TLT, their cubano, and their tacos. All three were very good. I have also had their breakfast Rev plate which was delicious and unique. They have a diverse selection of beers on tap and the atmosphere is very inviting for a night out with friends or for working during the day. All in all, Reverie is an excellent addition to Minneapolis restaurant scene. Only drawback in my mind is a side salad (instead of chips) is a $3 up charge which is silly for a small amount of lettuce with dressing. The internet can also be slow at times.

I love this place! Great food, beer selection, coffee, cider, and entertainment. Its a nice, quiet, open space in the daytime for working, relaxing with a cup of coffee, or having a meeting. In the evening, they have a great variety of music from night to night. Make sure you eat here. The chef is top notch and does some amazing things with jackfruit (try the tacos and the cubano sandwich)! Very reasonable prices, and way better than your average coffee shop. They always have a fantastic selection of beers on tap, including my favorite Roselle by Fair State. And the staff are really friendly, too.

I was pleasantly surprised by the makeover and relaunch of this location. Reverie has changed the luck of the convenient corner location by providing actual delicious food (all veggie so far) and a great selection of delicious beers. Happy hour is proper ($4 craft taps). This used to be a sub-par coffeeshop and now its a good coffeeshop and relaxed, spacious bar with great music. Oh yeah, whoever is booking this place (Heath something?) is killing it by bringing in strong local talent all across the board, not boring singer-songwriter filler. Prepare to be impressed.

Highly recommended. Great beer/coffee selection! Their menu is vegetarian, and very good. High marks all around! I really appreciate the Reveries commitment to the local art world. They hang local artists work on the walls, and they have some phenomenal MN-based bands play on many nights of the week, and you have the opportunity to hear the WIDE variety of music that MN has to offer. You can hear anything from Indie to metal to ambient soundscapes to jazz. I think thats a really great thing that they are doing, and they have my support!

Very happy with our happy hour experience at Reverie! We had a variety of taps for $4 and also had the Jackfruit Tacos and the TLT. The Jackfruit tacos were great and I really liked the TLT! The TLT was smokey, salty, savory, and everyone tried some and loved the flavor. As for the other things on their menu, I am eager to try them all in my next visits. We had friendly service and the atmosphere was nice for meeting with friends. Recommended for vegans and carnies alike.

I love this place. Jeff is an incredible chef with a serious gift for vegan creations (which can be pretty hard to come by in the midwest). He and Kirstin have obviously put a lot of love into creating a menu and space that engages with the local community as well as being wonderful. Local beer and cider? Yep. Gluten free options? Yep. Cant recommend highly enough. Whenever I visit Minneapolis I make a point of making a stop for the tacos and Sweetland cider <3

Once I realized there wasnt any meat whatsoever, the decision of what to order became much easier - got some hummus for a snack. For the herbivores, Im sure this is a 5* joint. Decent selection of beer in addition to cafe staples. Also has outdoor seating on the sidewalk. As a cafe for a light snack this is a 5/5 * place. As a restaurant where youre supposed to eat a meal and feel full afterwards, I cant really say, but I wouldnt go back here for that purpose

Nice! Hope it lasts! A refreshing blend of cafe, craft beer pub, and small music venue. All businesses here since Acadia left the space (due to rising rent) have struggled to make it viable. These guys might just have what it takes. Mondays 8pm local music night can be surprisingly good sometimes. Otherwise, you might want to check the schedule, especially if youre looking for something quiet.

My husband and I have been here several times and we love this place. The service is great, the atmosphere is fun, and we LOVE the food--it is absolutely amazing--so unique and creative and delicious. Weve tried the jackfruit tacos, hummus, chips and salsa and barbecue roll--all of it was fantastic. There are so few places in the Twin Cities with great vegan food--this place is such a treat for us!
