Just unbelievable. I was here the other week and ordered a sandwich that isnt in the menu anymore but I have still continued to get it the last few times Ive gone there. A simple order. A grilled chicken sandwich on a brioche bun. I know they still have those cause they use them for other meals. Not once,not twice but three times I sent the sandwich back for the chicken being so undercooked I couldnt even bite into the chicken it was like rubber. They did compensate my money for me for their mistake. The workers there are also very rude and make me and my family feel very uncomfortable. Theres a waitress we always get and she is always so rude and says unnecessary things to us. I just the another night decided to give them another chance hencing why Im writing this review. I got the chicken strips melt. Chicken strips on sourdough crunchy bread with cheese and bacon. I ordered without bacon and American cheese. I received my meal and they used a normal slice of bread from a package not crunchy at all. I order this a lot so I know what its supposed to taste/look like. On top of this my chicken was undercooked once again tasting like rubber. Sick and tired of poor service and food and then never getting my order correct. I really only will come back for breakfast and the fact they are one of the only restaurants that sell good raspberry iced tea. Most likely will take my service somewhere else in the area to the one in Des Moines.

Service was very poor. Toom 10 mins to get drinks. Wasnt even sure who our server was since the greeter got our drinks and took our order. Someone else brought our food out and another person gave us our ticket. Never was checked on once. Waited 20 min just to get boxes. When they brought our food they brought our ticket. To me that just shows they had no intention to come back to the table to check on us. I have eaten at a lot of Perkins but this is far more the worst I have ever been to. Talking to a manager wont do anything so if I were the owner I would look at your servers and get rid of the ones who are bringing dk wn the place. I wont return and I suggest people not to eat here.

It sucked, we waited 20 minutes before our waiter Kandis( her eyebrows were outrageous) even came over to our table, but we saw her at the table behind us 4 times. She kept forgetting our stuff and was very crazy. I had a bad time. Also my food was totally wrong. I wish we had a server because then it would be perfect. It was okay im the end because I think she relised we werent not happy. It was very frustrating after a really long day. Im never coming to the Perkins in Altoona EVER AGAIN.

Gross as F. Poached egg? Nope. Just cook a nasty sunny side up and cut away the egg white. Haha. My sister got a side of poached egg. The cook served 2 raw eggs in a bowl. I can cook better breakfast with my feet and a campfire. I wish I could take a photo of the food for you. Keep driving. Just keep driving. Youre not hungry enough.

This Perkins is in a convenient place. I have been here several times and have always gotten good service. The pie is excellent and on free pie Wednesday my waitress even let me get a cinnamon bun instead of a piece of pie since I was feeling that more than the pie that day. Stop by sometime!

I hated everything besides the food. The service here sucks. They never asked about refills or how the food was. They got my order wrong. The messed up the bills twice. I do not recommend this to anyone. My friend never got her cookies and we never got our pie.

Absolutely horrible!!!!! Took 10 minutes for the waitress to get out drink order, then thirty minutes after ordering the waitress comes back to tell us that they were out of one of our main courses!!!!! Will never recommend this place ever!!! Booooooooo!!!!!!

Been there regularly, however just had dinner there tonight and the manager Kevin fired an employee right in the lobby as she came to work. Everyone could witness the poor girls face as she started to cry. Not impressed and very unprofessional. Wont be back

The food was better than a lot of gourmet restaurants I have tried. The waitress was very friendly and quick to serve. The Host was very nice to allow me a cup of coffee while I waited to be seated. This is a great restaurant for a great price.

Best service and absolutely delicious food! You gotta try the Chicken, broccoli and bacon with lemon sauce. I asked for mine with rice instead pasta, so, so good. We really love the staff and manager, Rick.

We always seem to end up here later at night. Service is good. Price is great (half price appetizers). Food isnt too bad. Altogether a mediocre restaurant.. Its fine but nothing really stands out.
