Despite the location and not the greatest decor to appeal for dinning in, this is some of the best Chinese food I have had not only in Indianapolis, but in several other states as well. This is the Chinese food I remember having at a young age in California from authentic Chinese cuisine chefs. This is what Chinese food should taste like, rather than the poor quality buffet style that seems to be served in the majority of Chinese restaurants in the area. I have never had poor service here and the family that owns/runs it is very friendly. I drive from the north side of Greenwood and pass a dozen other Chinese restaurants on the way to pick this places food up for myself and family. Just like the old saying "never judge a book by its cover", as you should never judge a restaurant by its location/decor.

Honestly the best I have had in a long time, please note that i am very critical being an executive chef downtown but this place is good. I ordered 2 general Tsoand a sweet and sour chicken. The sauce on the general tso was perfect, not too much and not too little, not to mention how everything was fresh and hot. Here is the wierdest part for me personally. I NEVER eat egg rolls due to the punguent foul taste of overused fish sauce and overcooked old cabbage but thiers was so good that I ate two of them. Bravo to tast of China, I will be ordering from you again in hopes that it is just as good as this time. By the way this is the very first review I have ever written good or bad, just not my thing so that says a lot about how I rate this place

Hands down my favorite place to spend my lunch hour in Whiteland. They are always super accomadting and make the best food, served steaming hot. Most people use this place as a carry out only, but I eat in and holy cow their small portion is enormous when they bring it out to you. I always come away full and satisfied. Their Vegetable Lo Mein is a bit of heaven on earth. They have the usual variety of Chinese items but their food just tastes soo much better! I dont know what it is, but this is definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Also, its great bang for your buck. They even have some pretty good lunch specials.

Even after trying the Chinese across the state, this is still my go-to place for some of the best Chinese Ive ever had. When it comes to the staples, I prefer this place over Lotus Garden any day, and at a much better price point. Love their lunch combo, especially now that theyve moved to a flat price! Theres a couple of great deals on the lunch specials!! All in all, best restaurant in the area, and some of the best Chinese in Indiana, period!

I purchased food from here and there was one man working alone that gave me and my family the worst customer service ever and the restaurant is nasty! I order my food the way I wanted it and he did not want to make it he wanted to make it his way so I let it go and it was horrible! I did not want my food anymore and wanted a refund which he refused so I am very upset how I was treated I will never bring my family here!

Great food. And for all you people saying bad customer service? have you ever actually just talked to the guy... probably not. He is one of coolest chinese people i have met. He is hard to understand but if you just take the time he is a really nice person and yes there is only one man in there. but he takes care of the business and the food is great.

These people are great. The food is great. Dont let the place fool you; its a little cramped and the decor is tacky, but the food is great and they treat repeat customers very well! They deserve every 5 star rating they get! Though, I wish they could expand to a better store. They deserve it. TRY IT OUT! ITS GOOD!

All I see are bad comments but we order from here on a monthly basis and have never had a customer service issue. Food is always good, only issue we have ever had was they forgot our sweet and sour sauce.
