WORST PLACE EVER. spent over $80.00 there and still left hungry very poor service. unprofessional as could be. manager or owner not sure which was walking around the resturant drunk. service had no people skills nor serving skill. we was there over 1 1/2 half hours my glass was empty almost the whole visit. the two cheeseburger that we order was so over cooked and dried out that niether could be eaten. the sweet tea was spoiled. NOW THE WORST PART OF THE VISIT BY FAR would be the fact i as we sat at the table waiting for our food a kitchen employee comes out of the mens restroom. WITH HIS APRON STILL ON. WITH FOOD ON HIS HANDS AS WELL. WHICH IS MAJOR HEALTH VIOLATION. FOR THE APRON SHOULD NEVER BE WORN IN, ON, OR AROUND BATHROOM CAUSE OF CONTAMINATION. AND THE FACT THAT IT WAS OB WHEN HE WALKED OUT JUST SAYS THAT HE DIDNT BOTHER TO REMOVE BEFORE USING THE BATHROOM. NOR DID HE WASH HIS HANDS AFTER WORDS. THE FOOD STILL ON HIS HANDS AND WRIST CLEARLY SHOWED. VERY DISGUSTING AND DESTURBING. Would STRONGLY SUGGEST AND ADVISE YOU GO ESLE WHERE.

Miss Laura took fine care of us when we showed up after our cave tours. The brisket was, of course, extremely tasty, but the ribs... OMG, the ribs! The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and served sans sauce with a tasty dry rub. The sauces on the table were of a good variety (Sweet, Tangy, Sassy, and Carolina), but if you want a real treat, ask kindly for the X-Sauce. Its made up fresh whenever the bottle runs out and its a little different every time. This batch must have substituted pickle brine for some of the vinegar and it was crazy good! Moreover, their beer selection suited my craft-beer preferences. I _will_ be down there to stop in again sometime.

I wasnt a big fan of the pulled pork. Im fairly certain I received food poisoning from this place. I feel really sick today. The pork tasted like it had been sitting out for weeks, it was so dry. The beer was flat, the BBQ sauce tastes like vinegar, and the onion ring sauce tastes like mayo. The only thing that was good was the onion rings, but I had to use ketchup. I stop at pulled pork places a lot and this has to be my new worst spot that I have been to. My experience may have been a fluke but any place that physically makes me sick needs to think about food handling.

I only gave a 4-star rating, because out of the 5 times my husband and I have been there, the food was amazing 4 times, and was pretty bad the 5th time. Not sure what happened, maybe the cook was having a bad day? The pulled pork we ordered was dry and tasteless, and the fried pickles were extremely over salted. On the other 4 visits the pork was moist and flavorful, the ribs were fall off the bone tender, and the fries and fried pickles were perfect. Hopefully that one bad experience was just a fluke.

Gotta give the love! Its been a while since passing through, but every time were down in the area, we think about it. Been here twice (the last time we were in paoli, it was for a cave field trip a little south of the area....almost cried when we passed and couldnt go in since we HAD to be back when the school bus arrived back at the school....2 hrs away). Cool place with all kinds of memorabilia and a distinct smokey bbq flavor.

We waited for an hour to get our food. Every one that ordered after us was already eating. Then the waitress came and asked us what we ordered. She forgot to put our order in. So we just got up and left. Never got to try their food. It smelled really good but the service sucked. She even messed up the 4 orders after us. The sad part is she wasnt even that busy. First and last time ever going here.

Terrible service ...... Asked our waitress to check on our food ( had been 50 mins since we ordered ) . She brings it out 5 mins later and it was cold !!!! They did ask if we wanted them to heat it up in the microwave . We figured cold crunchy fries and rings were better than warm soggy ones . Their smoked meats do have an awesome taste , even when cold ... lol

Kinda hit and miss. Sometimes it rivals the best BBQ Ive had. Other times, its just clearly reheated and not fresh. The quality suffers. Same with the fried food. Sometimes its perfect. Other times, the oil is either not hot enough or its just old. At their best, its great. However, too often, I get reheated leftovers.

Really nice outdoor seating next to a creek. Good service. The best dry rub ribs, I ever had! Homemade potato chips. Great food selections. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back-soon I hope. And will definitely recommend to friends.

2 pieces of hair in our food twice! And it was our 1st time. Service wasnt very great. Its not as good as youd think. Sorry I hate giving bad reviews, but there has to be better preparation rules and better service friendly service.

It wasnt busy here took them 10 minutes to get our drinks, then another 35 to get our food, it was cold, order was messed up in multiple ways, what we ate was good though
