Upon dining in the establishment, we were ignored repeatedly. Our silverware “Bags” that were all on the table each had either a fork or a fork and spoon. The food was dropped off by someone else and auctioned off. When I finally was able to gain the waitress’s attention to let her know that the Brisket was hard and I was unable to chew let alone eat it, She simply shrugged her shoulders and said “I’m sorry” before walking away. Nothing was ever bussed or taken away from the table as we jumbled to manage all the stuff occupying the table. Refills for our beverages were hard to obtain. We all ran out of drink completely twice. We were drinking Iced Tea. I was never offered anything else in place of my Brisket. She came by, at when my party had finished and asked if we wanted dessert. Upon receiving the answer no…. even though we did want to try the banana pudding, but were frustrated by this time…... she laid the check down and walked away. The table next to us even was complaining amongst themselves about how hard it was to obtain the attention of the wait staff and how his order was not right. The table across from us received the wrong side dishes. Upon checking out, your computer system made me give either nothing or 15% or higher. I did not want to be mean and leave nothing but felt it ridiculous that I was forced to give 15% gratuity on food and service that was not at the minimum “standard service”. I even complained to the cashier who offered to do nothing. Not get a supervisor. Not offer a discount. NOTHING. When we went outside, I smoked a cigarette while I started the car and let it start cooling down, since we do not smoke in the car. The more we thought about it, the more we wanted to communicate our lack of service and un-edible food to the manager. My friend went back inside and asked the cashier to please let a manager know that the guests at the outside of the door would like to speak to him or her. 10 minutes went by and our server came out, put her hand on her hip and announced that “she was the manager and how can she help us”. By this time I was off the chain with anger. How dare she sit there and lie to us like she was doing, especially with attitude. She clearly was not a manager. I told my party to “load up, let’s go, we are not going to resolve anything speaking with her”. Just then an older guy came out all red faced and asked her what the problem was. Not us. When I expressed how the service “sucked” and the food was “un-edible” and how clearly she was not a manager as she is telling us and that we just won’t come back if this is the kind of games y’all play. He told me “I do not need your business, your attitude or your money. Now get off of my property now!”…… Well then here we are. I am being charged full price for a substandard experience and he is getting away with behavior that is not Southern, not Welcoming and not Professional. I hope that they either learn and develop from their mistakes as a newer business or be honest and just make everything “To Go”.

I would have left a 0 star if possible. My friend and I eat here all the time but very disappointed after last Friday we both ordered a steak plate both steaks being well done but after getting home with them they were both running blood i called in to inform them of the problem spoke with a guy named Grayson he was rude from the start but ended up telling me he would replace both meals well after calling in today and asking for my meals i talked to Kenny the owner and said he could not replace the meals the only thing he could do would offer 50% off any menu item this is not the way you run a professional business why would i want to give you more of my hard earned money when your cook messed our steaks up we payed over $30 and couldnt eat it so that was a waste of $30 and now all you want to do is make me give you more money after you took my money for steaks running blood that your cook messed up and not to mention your associate told us it would be replaced now you the owner stated you would not honor what was told to me on Friday night not very good business and i will assure you i will keep my word about this and will not support your business and will let others family members and friend the way we were treated!!!!

I first tried Bluegrass within a week of them opening and had a horrible experience. The food came out cold and the service was horrible. I talked myself into going back a year later to give them a second chance. This time around the service was better, but the food was still not up to par. It did come out hot this time, but the bbq meat was very dry and had too much of a hickory flavor (almost bitter). As is with any bbq, peoples opinions will vary. However, if you enjoy Full Moon, R&R, Golden Rule, Jim N Nicks or the like, you will be disappointed with this BBQ.

The food was good, but the place was so cold, and my guests food was cold in minutes. The service was very good. But the condition of the restaurant left me a bit unnerved. The tables were sitting on napkins to level them, our tiny 2 person table slanted toward the wall, the railings were dirty, the paper under the food ripped, since we had no knives, so it was hard to get meat off the bone. The vinyl table cloth was ripped. It made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Good little nest egg of some good BBQ, portions are great. I personally recommend the meatloaf and corn nuggets. Love coming into this dining experience and trying new things on the menu and even taking my friends to try the eatery. Price Range: $$ Pro: Clean rustic environment, nice waitress & waiters, clean bathrooms, huge portions Con: (Price is the only catch in my opinion)

Make sure that they read your order back to you because kenny have select hearing and will give you what he want you to have. And when I told him thats not what order he was rude refuse to fix my order than when I ask for a refund he told me that this wasnt walmart. I will never support no one that cant admit that they are wrong an who dont value there customers

Bluegrass Barbeque has great food with a fun, unique atmosphere. The barbeque is good but the southern comfort foods are just as wonderful. Every time we eat here, I try something different and have yet to have something that wasnt great! If you like chicken and dumplings, then I highly recommend theirs. They are probably the best I have ever had!!!

My wife and I visited this restaurant a couple of days ago. The service (Becky and Tonya) was very good and the food was good. I had the ribs and she had the fried chicken. My ribs were very good. They were cooked just right. My only complaint would be that my ribs were cool not warm or hot. We like the people and the food and will be back soon.
