The food was average at best; very little sausage in my biscuits and gravy, and the pancakes were overcooked, dry and hard. The wait staff was below average, my wife wanted a fresh chip of coffee and our waitress wanted to debate as to how fresh it was, we are coffee drinkers, we know the taste of good coffee. Then, we could hear her talking smack about my wife. So far, or experience in Indianapolis, people arent grasping that they are in food service, thus they are being paid and tipped to SERVE US.

My husband and I eat at this Flap Jacks often enough that they know our order without asking. I love their wait staff, and the delicious food just makes it a great experience. Items I recommend: chicken salad croissant, chili, chicken noodle soup. I have been to many other "breakfast" joints, and this one is just my favorite. Their coffee is yummy, and they offer those little things like different flavors of creamer, and the option to have Splenda instead of sugar or that pink packet junk.

First time it was great. Great food. Great service. Great environment. 2nd time. Same waitress, but much less enthusiasm, not friendly at all, but this was only to me, because some elderly couple came in behind me and their attitude totally changed. Even the host gave me the side eye. My first time ever not tipping at all. Even my food was wrong, which never happens. Im new to this side of town so Im ISO a great pancake house with great food.

Just went this morning for a carry out order but have went before. The cajun chicken salad and the bacon cheeseburger are what I have previously got. I got the mexican skillet this morning with huge portion size as well as two big pieces of toast and a big cup of coffee for $9.65. Halfway through my breakfast i was already full, and it tasted amazing. Highly recommended restaurant.

Best gravy and biscuits in the Indianapolis area. Breakfast is done very well here, but if you prefer turkey breakfast meat, youre out of luck. They dont have turkey bacon and the turkey sausage is awful. Sometimes the cook gets lazy and tries to deep fry the breakfast meats but the waitresses are quick to correct that first you. Be sure to ask for Crystal and tip her well!

The food here is excellent, but today the service was totally inacceptable. Wait staff sitting at bar eating, others joking around. Waited for someone to take my order.......ended up leaving and going to McDonalds. Mc food sucks, wiah I had the patience to have waited. Maybe next time.
