Everything about this places was terrible. We waited 5 min in the drive-thru before anyone spoke to us(very rudely at that). When we finally placed our order we were pulled around to wait (there were not that busy). After another 15 minute wait the worker comes out with a bag and asked if we had the tacos, which we did not, more did the car behind us. We walked inside and waited anther 20min before they had to retake our order. While waiting were waiting we heard the woman taking orders say she was closing the drive-thru window "because she was tired of dealing and talking to people." when we finally got our food as the woman was holding it she asked what sauce I wanted, twice. I told her honey mustard and she put it right in the bag. Took the bag to the table, she had given me ranch dressing. The food was also cold and burnt. Worst food I have ever had. Do not waste your time here. Terrible staff and terrible crew.

We visited the 9769 E. US HWY 36 in Avon IN the evening of January 17 2015. i was beyond. ... to find out JBOX was Indianapolis! . from socal and grew up eating at Jacks. not a single 1 in Chicago area.... only down south; way down near St. Louis. .. cm on back to Chitown !!!!! ok.my review. lets see. 10 tacos with the usual yummmm! could only eat 8. chocolate shake creamy and tasty. 4 breakfast jacks. 1 for me the others for my daughter. they were piping hot and eggs done right and cheese melted perfectly. my enthusiasm may have been evident... we got big smiles from the woman who took our order and she was more than just pleasant. She looked proud to.assist with questions about menu items my party of 4 had . everything tasted great: was hot: bacon and burgers cooked right . fries crisp but not overdone. the store really was neat and clean. we loved it.... going once more today in our way home!!

The service at Jack in the box on W 38th st is HORRIBLE this is my second time going there and I never get what I order. The guy at the drive through was talking on his phone and not even paying attention to what I was saying. I had to repeat my order more than 3 times because he would not get it. I HATE THAT THEY ALWAYS GIVE YOU WHAT THEY WANT AND NOT WHAT THE COSTUMER WANTS. I AM SO ANGRY THAT I GET HOME JUST TO FIND OUT I GOT SOMETHING I DID NOT ORDER.

I absolutely love Jack in the Box, but the W 38th St store is obviously making up their own rules. I just bought 6 tacos in the drive thru and a) they put 2 tacos in the same package...driving down the road, I pulled out a taco and the second one came out too, landing in the floor board...what a waste...b) and they apparently no longer put hot sauce on the tacos, again, driving down the road, Im supposed to try to add sauce and steer. Very disappointed.

Cant get enough of this place theyve been here a few years now and I love it! Before I had to take a trip to California to get my Jack in the Box fix now I can go to 38th Street great place to eat at very wide selection and who doesnt love breakfast all day their sausage burritos amazing so is the meat lovers burrito everyone in the family can get whatever they want and everyone usually leave happy I suggest check them out

I feel sorry to the owner jack in box at 38th st Indianapolis Indiana the staff dont do their job right lazy staff and waiting in the drive thru like 15 mins and go order inside the staff I try to order she dont pay attention talk to her but she ignore me and just playing with her phone theres no customers so no reason they cant see me or give a greetings to the customer

Was in the drive thru for ten minutes waiting on one car to order a single meal. I pulled up and sat for ten minutes for a response from the clerk who informed me itll be a minute. Which, I waited five more minutes to pull forward, and the same car was sitting at the window still waiting! Need less to say, I wasted my lunch break and went hungry. Management needs a tune up.

Worst jack in the box ever manger was so rude when i brought back my food that she called the cops on me. Makes no sense when i order my food she had a attitude the whole time and then i took it back because it was under cooked and frozen hashbrown absolutely positively disgusting. I will never return back until the manger is fired probably wont come back then eather.

This is the first time Ive changed my reviews. I talked to the district manager, and he changed a lot of things at the restaurant. Theyre open 24/7 fully now, The restaurant is totally spotless and the staff are courteous and quick. Most importantly they always have my delicious 2 for 99 cent tacos! order 20 of them! Fantastic improvement, and thanks again!

Whatever improvements were made in the previous weeks must not have lasted long. 8pm on a Friday night. 5 minutes with no line to have an order taken. Another 13 minutes to get our food (not even a special order). They clearly give all priority to the drive through. About 30% of the flavors in the Freestyle drink machine were empty.

I feel like the food here could be really good if its fresh and hot. Unfortunately, the burger meat was kinda tough and not even hot, like as if it had been cooked for a while and was sitting out. The curly fries were also not fresh and not hot. The man who took my order was very friendly. Make sure you ask for freshly made food.

I recently drove 230 miles from North Chicago to Indianapolis just to go to this Jack in the box because there are none in Chicago. I drove to this Jack In the Box and their service was terrible. They had a very bad attitude as well. I dont reccomend anyone to go to this Jack In the box. They were very rude to me and my family.

I did walk in the door to the young lady at the front counter on her phone which was off-putting, but other than that service and food was excellent. I was in Indy for the day and drive out of my way since the 2 Northside locations have closed. Food was hot and delicious, and I got 4 tacos and a drink for $3. Cant beat that!

The one on 38th street has the worst customers service everytime I go and try to get something they either dont have tacos because the frozen or no cheesecake because the truck hasnt arrived and I just went and their excuse now is that all their registers are down always an excuse might as well just shut down ....

I dont get around well, and when I walked in, the floors were absolutely overed in grease, on top of slick tile. If youre gonna have that kind of floor, keep it clean so its safe. I had to turn around and walk out. First time at a Jack in the box = probably the last time at a jack in the box!
