I usually visit occasionally, but today will be my last day. I encountered a very rude manager by the name of John. As my grandson played with another customer behind us, mind you he was in a high chair the whole time, my grandson was making wolf sounds, not really loud, john came and asked me not to encourage him in doing so because there were other customers trying to eat. I was taping my grandson as he did it, I found it cute because he was so happy. On Halloween, at 1:00pm. This coming from a family restaurant, I was offended as there was a screaming child there, they werent approached, just us. Never again will I visit here. I was extremely upset!!!!!!

I and five others from my workplace ordered food from the Wheel for breakfast. I heard that this place was good and so I was SURE that breakfast cannot be messed up.....well it was!!! First they messed up the order which turned into them over charging. When the food was brought to the office, one of the orders were returned AGAIN because it was not correct. My turkey sausage was barely cooked and cold when I received it. My french toast was ABSOLUTELY disgusting AND just for those two items, it was almost $12. I will NEVER eat there again and anyone that tells me that it is good again, I will be sure to share this experience.

Not so friendly staff. The man collecting dishes was friendlier than the staff members who are supposed to interact with paying customers. We are a quiet, hard working family always on the go looking for spots to eat home style dinners. Food was low in seasoning, I dont usually eat a lot of salt but when you order meat, you want flavor. I felt like I was on a bland diet. Food had no color, no flavor, also Lukewarm in temperature. At the end of the day our family just wants to catch up on how our day went, not complain about our flavorless food or how bad the service was. Guess Ill have to invest in a crock pot...

Came here to have a nice breakfast with my fiance. Ordered an omelet and a skillet. The food was bland. I tried to make it better with salt and pepper and some salsa and that only made it worse. Told our server we were not satisfied so she got us a manager. He said this is a best seller and hes not taking it of our bill because were stupid. Then proceeded to call the cops on us because we said we didnt want to pay for a meal we only took 2 bites out of. I asked for separate checks, and they couldnt even get that right. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. If I could leave a negative star, I would.

I have eaten in diners all over the country and you just dont get the portions with these type of prices. There menu is too large, if they cut the variety they can focus on quality even more. There salmon dinner is excellent and so are there steak and chicken dinner. There breakfast is dirt cheap. I cant see how anyone can complain about prices, must be the bums living on welfare. Go here try different items, because not all is great but overall I am more than satisfied. I go out of my way to eat here. Lots of healthy items on menu. Love it!

This place used to be a hit or a miss. Sometimes itd be amazing other times it just wasnt very good. Since they reopened prices seem to have gotten higher, food portions bigger, but pretty tasteless. For the most part the waitresses are nice, but this one waitress made some comment on how I should be cooking instead of eating there and how it was a shame for my boyfriend that I didnt cook. Like seriously! People eating here is the reason you have a job! Im done with this place. Too pricy for what you end up getting.

The waitress was nice but I would give 8 of 10 because she didnt ask if we wanted to order drinks. She just went straight into our order and during the meal, only filled half of our tables drinks (3 of 6 people). You may say food is bland but I like that because it gives the option for people who are watching their sodium intake. I only had breakfast, the Alaska omelett. I was disappointed it was imitation crab but it was ok. Nice helpings based on the plates at the table and its low priced.

Ive been visiting this business since high school and have rarely been disappointed. Best lemon rice soup in the Region. While a student in college, I had the chorizo skillet for dinner every night for weeks on end. In addition, my mentor and I would go here every Thursday evening and never grew tired of it. Unfortunately theyre not open 24 hours, but thats my only criticism, so I suppose that says a lot. The service is good and so is the coffee!

I came with 3 friends we were treated poorly. Once seated (hiding us in a nook)they brought us water one glass had a shoot glass in it with nasty gary mess floating in it...no it wasnt greese. It was very uncomfortable to be treated that way after coming there for many years. I wont be again.

Ive been going here for years. If you are looking for a friendly staff and great hot food this is the place. Prices are reasonable and food are large take home portions. Get a two for one. Family run with a strict hand for quality. The brothers share shifts and have high standards.

This restaurant since I was 14 years old I am now 44 the service hasnt changed its still the best around and so is their food so you have to come and visit try the saganaki and especially their appetizer plate and mushrooms her big zucchini onion rings their soups homemade its delish

No wait time to be seated; Service was fast, friendly, and orders were accurate; restaurant was clean and staff kept busy; atmosphere was upscale but not uppity. Will definitely return! Patty melt, ribs, steak, buffalo wings, and lemon rice soup were all excellent!

The waitress was outstanding I enjoy there I never ate there before they fooled as they say in the in our language it was the bomb . A restaurant that good in my own backyard thats what Im talking about good eating good food good company good professional waitresses

Everything Ive ever tried here is above avg. Breakfast burrito, stir fry, skillet, eggs n bacon, chicken parm sandwich, clubs. Order breakfast potatoes for the table to share. Open late here which is helpful. Very stingy with free bread though.

Horrible food. Didnt even take a doggie bag for my dog. He would have bitten me for bringing that food home. Best part of the meal was the salad and bread. Never ever ever going back. Sad thing is I had really looked forward to eating there.

They are a good result! For the lady that wants Real crab, you need to go to an upscale restaurant for that. Its fairly priced and decent. I agree that the food is a little bland but hey, were in Hammond, it is what it is! Will return though!

I have the chicken fajitas and they were out of this world. Also at a very affordable price. Our waitress Carrie was just as sweet as she could be. My overall experience eating at the wheel family restaurant is I well be back again!
