Jeff Street Pub... no dice. Nice bar, good drinks, reasonable prices, rude employees. Ive spent my fair share of money there, and after my last visit, I wont be doing it again. While talking to a friend of mine, I was approached by a bouncer and was told to leave. Apparently, slapping a table while telling a joke is considered violent. By the way, my tab that night was $1.75 for a beer I didnt get to finish, so you can imagine how loud and unruly I had been acting. While drunk college students and possiblly underage guests are shoving into you and yelling over your table, if you can get one, try not to have your drink spilled on you, if you can get service. They dont seem to want your money, so dont bother.

This is hands down the place to be in Franklin on any night of the week. Cindy and Tiffany make everyone feel welcome and at home. Ive been away from that town for a year, but they still remember me when Im lucky enough to make it back. Something for everyone here: sports on multiple channels, karaoke on Thursdays, a decent selection of Indiana craft brews and even Guinness on draught. Oh, and the food is spectacular. An order of magnitude above what you would expect from a "small town main Street" bar. Popular with the college crowd some nights, it can get standing room only if you wait to get over there. A must-experience place for anyone overnighting in the Franklin area.

Jeff Street Pub, at one time served the best wings and pizza in the city of Franklin. Bad service and bad attitudes have ruined this once great spot. We went to Jeff Street, hoping to share Jeff Street with out of town guests. The service was exceedingly poor. The food was served sporadically, meals were forgotten and when we complained, the kitchen manager more or less told us we have no right to complain and decided to add insult to injury and berate our group of 14, including business visitors from England. Its a shame...they embarrassed us and they embarrassed the city of Franklin. We will never be back.

Jeff Street Pub has TREMENDOUS, gracious service. I dont understand the other reviews! The menu is terrific, with lots of healthy choices - not just your typical bar food. The prices are reasonable. There is also live entertainment and a Tuesday night blues jam - anyone can join in. The Franklin College kids seem to love this place, too. I get to Jeff St. as often as possible. I especially make it a point when the Snakehandlers Blues Band plays there. About the owner... she is one stylin, hard working woman, who cares about her business and the customers who support her.

We visit frequently, especially on trivia night. Awesome food, friendly and caring staff and owner. I honestly dont understand some of the negative reviews. Sometimes the service is a little slow but food is always excellent, lots of options. Some of my favorites are the Asian chicken salad, chicken quesadilla, teriyaki wings, grilled chicken, and of course their pizza. And drinks, must try their punch! One of the last free-pour bars left in Franklin.

This bar really is a nice bar with great deals and an eclectic group of people. As long as youre drinking quietly and no one can hear you laughing or singing along with the band, youll be welcomed. Karen the owner can be quite icy if you laugh a little too loud, and we were sober. Maybe a small workshop in please and thank you would go a long way for Karen and her professional demeanor.

Amazing service, AMAZING food, and great drinks poured generously for cheap prices. Love this place! I think that a lot of the poorer reviews were from people who had been kicked out for being underage or unruly. Sure, sometimes people make mistakes, but I have never had a rude server or bad time here. I love Tiffany, and Karen is so sweet!

Havent been here in a while but this was the spot to be in my early 20s. The owners and staff are the greatest. This place is a total dive, but a dive done right. I would highly recommend this place for your night out in the area.

If It were the last Bar left on this Earth, I would for sure skip It. Use to be a one of my favorites, ehhhhh now my least favorite. Many rude employees, let alone rude owner, oh and the oh so friendly bouncers!

This bar has been one of my favorite spots in Franklin for many years now. The only place in Franklin you can get a Guinness on tap, and the owner and staff are the best.
