I am very disappointed in the way our party was treated at the end of the evening tonight. We brought a large party of 20+ people after a wedding this evening and spent several hours at Mucky Ducks, and we also spent several hundred dollars on food and drinks. We treated the staff kindly and tipped them well. About 3 minutes before closing, when only about 10 of us were left, the groom was served 7 shots at the inside bar, but not given any way to transport them to the party on the patio. And then he almost immediately was not permitted to head out toward the patio. So he waited with the shots at the bar, until our party was being shoved toward the door by the "security" staff. And then because the folks in our party stopped to take their shots, the head of "security", a white guy in a striped sweater, repeatedly threatened that he was going to get the cop sitting outside. And then proceeded to go to the cops car. Im am an adult woman, 34 years old. Im a classy professional type. I was in a floor-length dress, and my friend - the bride - was wearing her veil. There was no question that our party was not some group of troublemakers. And I can say with certainty that no one has ever put their hands on me inside a bar until tonight. I was later told that it was because your bar can lose your liquor license if anyone is found to be inside the bar past 3:00. But I actually am aware of the liquor licensing laws because I used to serve. So I want to suggest that you brush your staff up on the liquor laws in our state, and also that you help them with customer service techniques and when not to put their hands on patrons. There was literally only one security person who kept a level head and was respectful...and there were two men put their hands on me personally. When my friend, the bride, asked to speak to the manager, a black man in a black t-shirt said he was the manager and then slammed and locked the door in her face. Ive honestly never seen staff at any establishment treat their guests so poorly. I was threatened by the "head of security" as he was getting in his girlfriends car that I wasnt allowed back in the bar - not because I have actually done anything wrong at this point, of course, but simply because he seems to want to feel superior for some reason. So I want to ensure you that his threat will be a promise kept by me. And I would also discourage other folks from planning a group function at this bar for sure, at a minimum until further training can be provided to the staff. I have attached a copy of the liquor laws from the state website to make it easier for you to reference with your staff. It is my understanding from speaking to your staff that you are working to improve the class of guests that visit your establishment, so I hope that you will take these comments seriously. I also would suggest that treating the exact level of clients that you hope to attract as if they were trash is not a good way to maintain any level of decent patrons. When a group made up of primarily local business owners, but also high-level management and military are manhandled and treated poorly, you can rest assured that we will take our hard-earned money elsewhere in the future.

AWESOME! Really great environment definitely safe and secure. They have plenty of bouncers so theres hardly ever fight. Ive been going here for four years ever since I turned 21. The food is really good and the service is really good too, sometimes you have to wait but thats reasonable especially when its really packed or if theyre short on staff. The beer is always cold and very good tasting, and if theres ever a problem with anything they always do the best to fix the situation. Yes they do have a dress code and thats reasonable and definitely makes the place a nicer and more reasonable bar. It helps reduce a lot of fights. I come here three or four times a week especially Fridays and Saturdays and I have to say ever since theyve upped their game, fights are very rare, maybe once a every couple of months or so. So, I definitely feel safe bringing my wife here more often than I used to. This bar even host events they just had two different Indy cars up here not too long ago and I think theyre supposed to have the Clydesdale horses coming tonight. They even host charity events and class reunions. Im pretty sure theyll even do a family reunion for those over 21 of course. The food is delicious and they have a great selection to choose from. Yeah it is mostly typical bar food but its definitely better than any of the other bars Ive been to and ate at. They have a great dance floor and a huge outside patio right on a lake, where you can smoke. This bar definitely does not disappoint and it pleases every crowd by far. Also, to boot they even have karaoke on Fridays which is awesome. Everyones really polite, sometimes its fast-paced but thats just how it is when youre busy they really try to make you smile thats for sure and if they cant do it then no other bar can. I honestly wish there were more stars to give but unfortunately there are only five and they have earned every last one, by far.

Being here for ten minutes all of a sudden tonight security is walking around being complete nazis about the dress code. Some guy is wearing basketball shorts and just got kicked out. The longest standing manager supposedly is going around enforcing it saying thats the reason he has kept his job for so long is because hes enforce this ridiculous dress code. Personally Im dressed fine but while walking in some guy with a v neck white shirt wasnt allowed in either. A guy that is sitting with us that had a cross around his neck was told to tuck it in. Im sure that there are several more instances but this is absolutely ridiculous. I would not suggest this place any more to anyone for the simple reason that you cant just come in comfy. Its a bar, its a bar that has a big patio on the back and people come to relax. Yes there may be a club side but 90% of the people that come here dont go to that side nor do 90% of the people come here care if you have basketball shorts or a white t shirt or black t shirt or a tiny chain with a cross. Seriously mucky duck? This is absolutely ridiculous.

Ive never been more humiliated in my life, I went here I bought 3 $1 beers drank 2 didnt finish my other 1. I walked outside to grab my cigar from my car, walked back in. Was grabbed by the bouncer dragging me to the door, myself saying nothing he kept on saying something about my attitude. I said as I gave him my ID to check "I just didnt see you there" he said "alright buddy go" I said "what? Why?!" I said "ok then ill go" then I started to walk out the door, and thats when he started shoving me out of there making a scene for no reason. This whole time I never touched him bouncers are not allowed to use physical force unless a patron does so first, the girls behind me that were leaving the bar said "that was totally unnecessary him shoving you out of here". I opened the front door I said " Im going to talk to the manager, because you shoved me" he then proceeded to charge at me shoving out into the parking lot into a parked car. I was not even close to being drunk the whole time. I wasnt physically injured which is why I didnt file a lawsuit.
