Atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly and other patrons were very friendly no matter how drunk. Didnt feel like I had to constantly watch my back in case fight broke out. Would have given 5 stars but the waitress we had was new and did really poor job. Not entirely her fault though. Management should know better than to throw someone to the wolves on a Saturday night with a popular live band in the house. Also, my friend went to bar for own drink and bartender put her change in the tip jar without being told to. Friend had to ask for her change back. Very, very bad policy on bartenders part or managements whoever endorses it. Customers should choose when and how much to tip. Food was really good, band was awesome and again, atmosphere was great. Would rather drive to south side of Indy than go to bar in town I live in. (Only have one) :( Will be back again very soon.

They charged me a to go order $12 and change for a AWFUL blackend chicken salad. With literally a half a cup of wilted lettuce.... when I called and complained about the food foe the first time in my life!!!! They said... next two salads on us... 3 weeks later (today) I reluctantly called for a replacement. .. whoever answered the phone was rude immediately didnt ask my name. Didnt ask why I was shy fully asking for a replacement.... I just hung up... nevermind. I dont want spit in my food. They should have made it right the first time knowing I worked across the street and only have a half hr lunch break!!!!! $12.. for about 5 leaves of lettuce?? Nope... telling everyone I know and Co workers. And everyone in the area. Rude. Expensive. Dont keep their word. And had every means to make it right....

Dont know where these people were sitting. The staff has always been excellent and the food is better than "That Place" for sure.(Tthey need an add for a cook plus publish a menu for food not dog food. Dance there alot, EAT there, not at all.) I go to Southport B&G, then to that place. Southport has a very good viewing and good bar food. an event calendar on the home page would help. the staff is ready and willing to serve you, not over serve or push you out. I have had a great time whenever we have been there. I recommend it to anyone out there to come and see for yourselves. especially when the bunny brothers band is playing. The drink pricing is lower, depending on choice of course.

So we walk in and there is no one and we still waited for no one to come and ask what we wanted. All the girls where sitting down and absolutely no one helped. I had to go ask for my own drinks every time. Once everyone else started coming in (all white) the girls jumped up sat them down got their orders and got them a menu. On the other hand to go ask for everything. I guess you have to be white to get service here. By the way the blond girl at the bar was super rude and making faces I guess because I didnt give a tip but how do u expect a tip for a bad job. Guess all the reviews about this place were true.

My husband and I looked into this little bar and had a great time. Sat at the bar and the servers were fun, friendly and helpful. I always ask "What do you like here" and every one said the fish sandwich. Each of them had it the night before and said how good it was. So thats what I ordered. My husband got a burger. When my sandwich was delivered, I swear it was the whole filet. Perfectly cooked. I also ordered onion rings and out came a mound of onion rings. Thick cut. Needless to say we will be returning. Cold beer, good food and friendly people.

The food used to be incredibly good. Everything was made fresh, even the deep fried button mushrooms which were the best ever. The menu has changed and now it seems to be the same processed frozen crap you get everywhere else. They used to be head and shoulders above Mucky Duck and That Place. Now it doesnt matter its all the same. Other than that its a nice place to hang out. Friendly peeps and staff.

The food I ate was amazing. I had the BADA bing shrimp and sausage pie, I mentally devoured the food like a greedy pig while eating it politely in the real company of others. I plan to go back tomorrow to try different food. This place has high standards, good people, great food and good music. SBG is worth your time, make the visit, you wont be disappointed. "Tiz"

Used to be a stellar location, but has gone downhill slightly after new management took over at the beginning of the year. Now has a smaller menu, more expensive drinks, and very much a sports-bar theme (it used to be more of a live music location). They still have live music, with the occasional big name act, but its just not the same anymore.

I find the "fine dining" descriptor for this place to be hilarious. Place was full of trashy people at the bar screaming very, very obscene things all night. The music was just blaring loud hip-hop. Wait staff was nice, but detached. Food was nothing special at all, not unique.

Horrible service. New owner has changed so much for the worse. Horrible dj! Descent food. Waitress in pink skirt really rude and smokes every 2 minutes. Get it together new owner "that place" !mucky ducks" will close your doors this summer!

Hey, the beer is cheap good discounts on food for lunch. Cute wait staff they do the best they can. Its not a dive, but they have pool tables, plenty of live music, close to the highway, it is what it is.
