My girlfriends and I loved Fireside! We go for lunch/dinner and drinks about 2-3 times every couple of months. We as well as other Southsiders have noticed a decline in the service as well as the food. Today was my last visit. My husband and I went to enjoy lunch at paid a 28.00 bill for mediocre food and not so good service. I ordered the fireside melt with mashed potatoes. The potatoes werent horrible but they were instant. My tender melts had what looked like nacho cheese drizzled over them instead of the Jack cheese melted. My fireside melt was the same way on our last visit as well. For 12 bucks I should have real potatoes and it should be prepared the way the menu states the dish is served. The man who greeted us wasnt very friendly. He wasnt entirely rude, he just acted as though he didnt want to be there. Our server acted the same way. However, our server was quick with delivering the drinks, good, and check. We appreciated that because we were ready to get out of there. One more situation happened that bothered me as well. There was a small child probably 2-ish who was playing with kitchens utinsels in the waitstaffs area where dishes and other things were. I noticed from my table that the small child was unsupervised for a few minutes and I became worried. I left my table to check on what was going on. I didnt want the child to get hurt first and foremost but I also didnt find it sanitary that he was playing with silverware and utinsels used for food. When I went to the area two women approached me and asked if they could help me with something. When I told them that there was a small child playing in there I was told hes fine and that it was the managers son. They acted like this was ok. That really bothered my husband and I. Based off of our experience today and the word thats goi mg around in general I dont believe this is the place to go to any longer.

My girlfriend and I went here for a date night. We both worked in customer service previously and have now experienced the worst service we have ever had. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was good but a little over priced. Our waitress was absolutely awful. We are a young couple and as soon as she saw us you could tell she was upset and her service and attitude showed it. With the slamming of the plates on the table we finally got our food. We watched her walk outside several times and walking back in reeking of cigarette smoke. She was never there when we needed assistance. She even brought us the wrong bill and took another trip outside making us wait about 10 mins to just tell her this. After we paid our bill we went up front to ask for a manager. While waiting we had one waitress ask who we were complaining about and was then relieved we weren't complaining about her. When the manger came out the hostess was telling our waitress that we were complaining about her and we were swarmed by other waitresses while trying to talk to the manager. Like I told the manager I liked the establishment and the food was good but if I had that waitress again I wouldn't come back.

I was on a business trip in Greenwood. I was staying at a hotel right near the airport, behind Gander Mountain. I decided to try Fireside Brewhouse because I am a big fan of microbrews. The atmosphere was decent, just like every other sports pub you would come across. The place was not very busy, maybe a quarter of capacity. I sat at the bar because I was dining alone. The bartender was friendly enough, called me and everyone else, "friend". I asked for the drink menu expecting to see some tasty microbrews from Fireside, there were none. They dont even brew their own beer. I ordered a burger. It took around 30 minutes for them to bring out my food. The prices were decent. Around $10 for a burger and then $5 for the regular pint of Bud Light. Overall I would say Fireside is mediocre.

We used to come into Fireside weekly, they had the best reuben in central Indiana. Then some brilliant marketing strategist came up with the idea of removing it from the menu and taking away the one thing that differentiated them from all the other neighborhood pubs. Fast forward several years later and a friend tells me the reuben is once again on the menu! Man this is better than christmas!!! A quick check of the menu on the website, yes its there, a quick call to confirm, "No we dont have a reuben on the menu". Disappointment sets in and once again we are looking for "our pub". I had to select scores to get google reviews to accept it, if you still had your reuben you would have scored higher!!!

My husband, our son, his girlfriend, his two children, and I went to Fireside. We were told it would be a 45 min wait - it was much longer. They sit two or three groups of five before us. There was a dining room sitting empty which could have accomodated the larger parties without much of a wait. My husband asked what their house beers were and the waitress said "we dont actually brew the beer here" - well then why is the name of the place "Fireside Brewhouse"! The food was expensive and not even that good. Needless to say, we wont return.

Absolutely Horrible!! I received two gift certificates for this place with no restrictions listed on them whatsoever. I gave them to my server when the check came, the server returned and stated that he would have to split the check in order to use both. I didnt understand and questioned him. He referred me to a part owner who told me it was up to him how to credit the gift certificates and he refused to honor them for their face value. I used to patronize this business weekly and told him I would not return, he said that he did not care.

Awesome food at a decent price, and a great selection of beer and wines. I got the Big Island salad and a few drinks...and we shared the german chocolate martini for dessert, which was good and strong but VERY sweet, so definitely share this drink with a friend. :) The stella we got on tap was a little flat but our server was really nice, she was very personable and knew her stuff when it came to the specials and beers on tap (which is a LOT!) I would definitely recommend. Ty the m-80s shrimp! very good!

The dining experience was horrible. I got the Alaskan King Crab Alfredo and it was very strong fish flavor. Even the Alreado sauce was fishy. My husband ordered the Prime Rib Rare and it was more medium and tough. The prices were high and the food very poor quality. Neither meal was worth eating so we brought them home for the dogs to eat. A waste of $75.00!! We had three Bloody Marys. The first one was great, the second we sent back and the third tolerable. Dont go.

My wife and I had one of our best dates ever! The evening started off with a Biplane ride at the Greenwood Airport. Bradley Aviation / Biplane Rides Indy took us on an amazing open cockpit biplane ride. WOW!! After our rides the owner suggested we have dinner at Fireside Brewhouse, so we did. The food was great and the atmosphere was a very nice. They played great music and even had a place to dance. My wife and I havent danced in years! Thank you!!!
