I love Jay Cs. I was concerned when Kroger bought them out and I used to hate how they changed the signs above the aisles. They used to only say what was only on one end of the aisle and not the far end. They fixed that. Their deli fried chicken is better than anyones when it is fresh and they do an excellent order business for big orders. There are better grocery stores out there but not in Corydon. I go to them first, every time.

I have always liked Jay-C store, except for they have always been a little bit higher than everyone else other than their owner Krogers. Jim Carpenter from the Corydon Jay-C store when it was down on Indian Creek gave me my first job. He and Bob Decker argued back and forth as to who was going to hire me. Bob was the meat manager and Jim was the store manager and I loved both of them dearly they were wonderful people.

Very short wait in line, lots of in store price breaks. Found additional coupons Im mailbox when I got home that I can use next tim, as there were almost all for stuff I buy regularly

Hometown feeling all the way through. Most of the checkers are great. Only had one incident with a female checker of late that made me feel unwelcome. Thats why 4 stars instead of 5.

Local grocery store owned by Kroger. Yes, your Kroger card works. Discounts for fuel at on site gas station. The Added bonus of not being a crowded superstore.
