Taphouse is a great local pub with a huge beer selection and amazing food. For the past couple years the services here has been plagued by slow service and I kept coming back both from the amazing food and location. The last two visits makes me think the managers have finally started snapping things back into shape as the refills were coming quick and the servers were both on the ball (and new.) For those looking for a good beer they have a huge list of choices and for my personal favorite they always have multiple options for cider available. On top of that they also usually offer limited seasonal or holiday menus to spice things up (both drink and food wise!) . The food though is what stands out about Taphouse. Bar Food is what they serve but its hard to think of anything that comes to your table as just bar food. Everything is perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The burgers and sandwiches are all good and its hard for me to order food here without also getting an order of their fried pickles. Bonus points for serving amazing tots which I always order as the side instead of fries. Good food, good times, good environment, and if the last 2 visits are any indication I can once again happily say good service. For those looking for a little more there are always multiple games open, a trivia night, and an outdoor patio in the summer. Its also pretty family friendly.

Myself and my mother tried Tap House Grill for the first (and last time) yesterday 10/22/16. We arrived at roughly 6:45pm and it was busy, but there were open tables. The service was just unacceptably slow. One appetizer took 60 minutes to come out after being ordered. Dinner took another 40 minutes after the appetizer. We had to ask a different waitress for our check as ours was doing other things instead of tending to her tables. If the kitchen wasnt ready for a nearly packed house thanks to a Cubs game they need new management as it should have been a given. Overall; the food was good, but the slow service ruined this place.

To reply to No Longer a Patron.. Outside of the amazing beer selection, and the good food.. The place has an AMAZING staff.. its why we come back again and again. The General Manager actually bartends, and helps guests pick the ideal brew for any individual. He gave my girlfriend 10 samples before she finally decided on one. He was patient and kind, and hes that way to every guest Ive ever seen him with. The other bartenders and servers are also fun, and beer knowledgable!!! It was an unfair review, and it looks like every other review agrees with me.

Food, drinks and service were terrific. Im always please with this bartender. She is always friendly, attentive, smiling and looks like she takes pride in her great service. ( cant remember her name but always happy to see when she is working) They have great specials on food and drinks. Nice ambience. Only once have I had poor service (asst mgr no less) thankfully, that didnt stop us from going to this nice local spot.

Casual and accommodating! Came for the $5.50 10-piece bone-in wings & fries and the $3.50 drafts. Wings were crazy good, and way more filling than Buffalo Wild Wings. Fries well seasoned, too. Dusan provided helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly service, definitely requesting him when we come back. Restaurant and bar area was clean and well spaced. Comfortable booths, plenty of TVs, and professional staff. Love it.

The beer list and the food are great. This is a beer and shot kind of bar, so the liquor list is standard. About 80% of the time service is good to excellent. Ive almost stopped coming here due to having a bad experience, but I come back due to the food and beer and have had good service. So if you had one of the 20% of the time bad service, give them another chance. Its worth the gamble!

The food and beer were great (though they didnt put mustard on my Cuban, is that legal?), they seem to have 4-5 very unique beers on tap along with the 75 others. I had to wait a bit longer than expected for my beers (I ate at the bar), the food was tasty and pretty quick.

If you are into craft beers and excellent food this is the place to be! I highly recommend the deep fried bacon, it is beyond amazing. They also have great kobe beef burgers. They have a challenge that if you eat their 2 pound burger and fries, you get a free tshirt.

The food is really good here and the drinks are also pretty good, though the sour mix for their whiskey sours and other drinks is usually more bitter rather than sour. Service is also a little slow, depending on the day, but Id say its worth the wait.

Chill ambience with good food and lot of beer choice. They have nice patio in the back. If you like sweet you should differently try their donuts. And yes order the drinks ride away, the waitress can be slow, she is nice but sometimes slow

Underwhelmed...waitress was almost non-existent, not rude but not friendly either. Food was really good as always, but beer was kind of flat. Waitress also forgot our appetizer, but we werent charged for it. Always had great service before.

I was blown away at the quality food, drinks and service. My burger was amazing. Perfectly cooked, crisp veggies and the bun they use is equally impressive. Buttery, light and toasy goodness! My mouth is watering as I write this lol!

Had a terrible experience with the staff. Tried to discuss a complaint with the general manager and he walked away. My suggestion is drive the 15 extra minutes and get the customer service you deserve.

I seriously would avoid this place at all costs. Lazy and rude staff. Just kind of there, could care less about assisting customers. Dont go, youll be disappointed, management a joke and food sucks.
