The owner does not have any manners to talk to customers. I called to place an order for 12 people and before he heard me completely he started yelling and saying that they dont take orders for less than 20 people. I told him that a friend of mine got an order for 15 people in March and on hearing that he got even more angry and started yelling even more. He said I am the owner and can change policies anytime I want. I have no issue with anyone changing their policies but there is a certain mannerism one should have while talking to customers and specially women. I will not recommend his restaurant and food to anyone primarily because he does not have manners to treat his customers well.

It may not be the most clean place seating wise and there is no wash basin or restroom, but the service is fast and they have a vast variety of Indian fast food. Its tends to be on the spicier side, so tell them before hand if you want it mild, else you will not be able to enjoy certain dishes. You can see the kitchen in front of you, the food preparation is clean and everything is made fresh. The girl who takes orders and also serves you is extremely polite and helpful. Nice person. We like to go to Sai Saffron when we feel like eating the chats available back home in Mumbai and Delhi.

Unpretentious eatery with the best Indian food in West Chicagoland. Theres a lot of interesting variety, with a fair selection of street food. This is in stark contrast to the usual naan, tikka masala, and malai kofta fare that dominates the menus of a typical Indian restaurant and that alone makes it a five-star choice for me. The food is usually good -- the operators do like to experiment, which means occasionally you might end up with a dud, but the vast majority of time, Im more than satisfied with the food. My favorite is the Ragda Pattice while my wife loves the Masala Dosa.

Horrible food, more unhygienic than street food in India!! Looking at the reviews, I thought it would be a decent place. But the food is simply horrible and I had to leave most of the food I ordered. One can easily make out that the ingredients are at least a month old. I wonder how often they prepare the food they serve. Stay away from this place unless you have no other choice!!

Tasteless food, worst customer service and no hygiene The owner does not know how to speak to customers. The food tasted so bad that it made me feel as if there were doing charity. The ambiance not being restaurant like was not an issue but at least they should maintain some hygiene. I wonder how can such a place be still in business.

I dont understand how this place stays in business. The food is great and cheap compared to just about any other Indian/south asian joint in the region. Its a mom and pop type place so dont expect the Ritz however the food is great and you can order vegan!

This place was quite a find. While they have a limited menu, the quality of food at the price point is amazing. Expect excellent food and prompt service - and not so much the ambience. Its more of a takeout place with the option of sitting in and eating.

I have eaten at almost every Indian restaurant in the Chicagoland area and this is by far best Indian food you will find. Punjabi or South Indian dishes, I love coming here. Highly recommend the chole bhature and aloo tiki chaat.

Great place .. The food is very good and tasty. We ordered pav bhaji and samosa ragada and the taste was very authentic. The price is very decent. I also tried the masala tea and it was good too..

Place is very unhygienic. Food tastes sooo bad. Owner is the most wired and ill mannered person hence hospitality is worst. For desi food I say a big no.

Wonderfully flavorful counter served vegetarian Indian food in very basic cafe storefront seating. Go for the food. Dont worry about anything else.

They do not have washrooms in place. They close the shop any day on their whim because of catering orders.
