The food was good but we had lots of problems with the service tonight. My family & I walked in around 6:30pm to find that it was "seat yourself", they needed a host/hostess to handle the amount of people in the restaurant. We found a dirty table upstairs which the busboy quickly cleared for us. Side note: the busboy was the only one we saw who was hustling and working hard, all while having a smile on his face. Our waitress was friendly but couldnt seem to get us the place settings we needed, took a long time with drinks, etc. We ordered a pizza for three of us and a hamburger for our son who has a dairy allergy. Our pizza came out first, followed by a 15-20 minute wait for my sons burger. Our waitress apologized and said shed talk to the manager about taking something off the bill. After my son finished (the rest of us had finished our dinner 10-15 minutes earlier) our waitress brought us the check for the entire meal with no discount or compensation. I asked her if her manager had declined to make any changes to the bill, to which she replied "oh, would you still like me to talk to him?" The manager came over to talk to us and said hed only take off half the price of the burger since my son had eaten it. I explained that he waited almost 20 minutes while the rest of us had our pizza. He placed blame on the kitchen staff and said hed talk to them. I also raised the issue of our waitress not staying on top of things and the fact that she didnt talk to him about the burger before bringing us our bill. He replied that he would talk to her as well. Needless to say we wont be going back, which is sad because the pizza was good and its close to home.

I waked in to pick up a pizza for my family and there sat in the corner this dude wearing leapord leggings (you know what all the girls are wearing) with a half zipped up leather jacket and no t-shirt underneath. Sitting on the chair next to him was a fender stratocaster with the word "Vivian" written in red nail polish on the body. I asked him "do you play?" He replied "me and ol Vivian have melted plenty of faces back in the day". I said "cool, what do you do now"? Stranglely he replied" Im a co-owner/secretary/head of business development at this kick butt place down the street" . He then grabbed Vivian and exclaimed "its time to get home to the misses and the little man". I then witnessed him and Vivian jump the railing that runs along the Fox River. Concerned I started walking that way when all of a sudden I heard the thunderous roar of a fully blown V8 and saw what seamed like a 100ft rooster tail come from a pontoon boat. The guy was standing at the captains chair ripping the Hendrix version of the Star Spangled Banner and her disappeared north up the Fox. Was one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed. Oh yeah the pizza was great. I highly recommend it.

I cant believe the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. The dinner my girlfriend and I had here was hands down the worst food weve had in years. The apps we had were a notch below frozen microwavable dinners, and they werent cheap either. The decor is lame, but thats obviously subjective. I just cant believe they get away with serving that low of quality of food. If youre a food person, dont waste your money here

Great food but the guy who took our order and brought the check (and by brought I mean he came and threw it down without a word and walked off) wasnt friendly at all and he never came back after he took our order besides to throw our check at us. The runner was super nice and friendly as was the guy who took our plates. Well be back but hopefully he doesnt wait on us.

Really good food and a great atmosphere to watch any sporting event. Great location less than a stones throw from the water. Only 6 months old and fairly undiscovered, but a great place all together! Pastas are awesome and pizzas are next to be tried.

The pizza is essentially "Red Baron" boxed frozen pizza with mildly better sauce. Not very good. Was hard but not crispy. It came fully cooked almost to the point of dry. Ordered it one time, wont order here again.

We came for the pizza after seeing other reviews. Had the cheesesteak and your classic P&S. Both were quite good but a little light on the sauce. Pretty good pizza would have been great with a tad more sauce.

Get the grinder pan crust and you will not be disappointed. The upstairs area is superior to the lower bar area. Best pizza i have ever had.
