This is one of those places that seems to be cursed. Ive been working in the Schaumburg area for 3 years and its changed names almost once a year since I started. First it was "La Bella Roma Pizza" or something like that. That closed down at some point and became "Papa Luis Pizza" or something. Now its Mama Maria Pizza. This is a fast food joint that caters to South Asian folks, so youll find burgers made with halal meat, kebabs, chicken tikka, etc. on the menu. Sadly, I came by here one day in August to try it out and well, I couldnt! I walked in and there was no one at the counter! And there were already two other people waiting in front of me! While I was waiting, a 4th guy joined the line. Eventually, one person got disgusted and left. After a few more minutes, I gave up myself and walked to Pita House instead! It was decently clean inside and there were some people who were eating food theyd ordered earlier and it looked and smelled good, so a star for that. Otherwise, they seriously need to work on their service!

I had a coupon for $5 large 1 topping pizza! Monday and Tuesday only. I placed an order and mentioned the coupon, however the guy refused to accept the coupon. I showed him the coupon and his response was: "we did not advertised it". I showed him that the coupon specifically says Mama Maria in Schaumburg, and your address and phone is mentioned. He changes the statement and then says: "The coupon is from us, but the price is misprinted. It shouldve been $6, and not $5". He charges me the full amount $6.60 for the pizza. The issue is not about money but trust. The guy was clearly lying to save $1. How can we trust him that he is putting halal ingredients as he advertises. Id not recommend this place for extremely poor customer service and lake of honesty.

Just happened to stop by at this place with my family... Ahh what a pathetic service. I was waiting to place my order and cashier is busy on phone for few minutes after some time another customer entered and he started helping him and Im still waiting to put my order meanwhile another customer came in and he started helping him as well. when i interrupt to tell the cashier Im here even before both customers got in he very rudely replied I will take your order wait a minute. I will not recommend this place to anyone specially if you are going with family. I will not give any start but unfortunately I wont be able to post without start so I will give only 1.

Last night was my first visit here. I had the spicy pita gyros, which was very tasty but would benefit from a bit more cucumber sauce. I also tried the thin crust pizza and found it excellent! I will definitely be back. My only real criticism is that they are using a cell phone to take orders. When I called I was sent directly to voice mail. But as they are only a couple of blocks away, I drove over and placed my order in person. They were quick, but it was still inconvenient. A real business phone with multiple lines would be a big improvement.

Firstly dont get confused with Italian restaurant Mamma Maria which has many branches over chicagoland ....this one has only two branches (des plaines & Schaumburg) ...this is one of the best spots if you want quick fresh zabihah halaal food ...be it their pizza or sandwiches or wings all are finger licking good ..and very reasonable prices even for zabihah based fast food ..very consistent and last but not least dont forget the baked / roast chicken tikka one of the best you can get from here

I ordered a pizza, garlic bread, wing combo and a pita gyro. Their wings were great and their gyro meat is very tasty. However... I asked for no onion no tomato on my gyro & received onion on it with no cucumber sauce. The description states it comes with cucumber sauce so I was extremely disappointed to not have any cucumber sauce. Their pizza tastes like its from Little Caesars as well so overall Im not too impressed with this place and wont be going back.

This place is good for the price and the food tastes good as well. Two can eat here for $10-$12. Thats very cheap. So the people who you might see complaining about service and all the other idiotic stuff please ignore, they think they are special and should get 5star hotel service for their lousy $5 spent. Lol
