WORST customer service EVER. This is the the 3rd time theyve messed up my order, and then give a hassle about refunding it. Not to mention, have you waiting around for hours for your food. If your order is wrong, expect to be hassled! They will NOT credit you back for the meal. I was only offered "a note on my account for a free side" which was less than half the cost of the actual meal they messed up. The owner Tony will basically blame you for the "miscommunication", and do the bare minimum to correct things if at all. I ordered my food at 1pm. Its 5pm, and I still never got my food - only a huge headache. Give your business to a place that cares about their customers & treats them with kindness. WORD ABOUT THE "GLUTEN FREE" MENU - I told Tony to be careful that he doesnt get sued because the meatballs, scallops, and who knows....probably some of the sauces too and NOT gluten free. He tried to deny that they were on the Gluten Free menu stating that they were only offered as sides to the gluten free menu. My question was #1. Why is it under the Gluten free section, also in a separate window labeled "gluten free" in big capital letters at the top? #2 Why would someone ordering off the gluten free menu want sauce or meat that has gluten in their pasta? He tried to make an excuse for this as well, but then realized that it didnt make sense. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Too bad because we have 3 different accounts with them, and my whole family orders from them regularly but not anymore. If they would only have treated us well. Since they wouldnt credit me, I had to dispute the charges with my bank. I let them rip me off last time this happened, but not again Tony....sorry!

Pizza should be simple, like picking a mate should be simple. You should know what you like, what you are attracted to and what is good for you, but sometimes on your path to the best (pizza in Europe, for example) you slum it. You KNOW that you should pass the pizza-per-slice place with no one in it, but you could eat a slice and still walk, so convenience beats taste. You KNOW you could buy the ingredients at the market down the street and use the pizza stone that is gathering dust in your cupboard, but laziness beats... well, most things. For the simple combination of dough, sauce, cheese and toppings, the endless choices and risks are substantial. So, it was with great hopes and slothful expectations that I called Pizza Bella when the pizza craving hit the other night. Uh oh, strike one: we live .7 miles away and are somehow outside of their typical delivery range, which means an additional fee. Baffling and off-putting, I continued. After that, some balls and fouls (to continue the baseball metaphor): 53 minutes for delivery, but $30 for a salad and an extra large pizza with toppings. Then, it came. The food was very good and hot. The delivery man was polite and pleasant in that oh-most-pizza-delivery-guys-are-pock-marked-17-year-olds-or-scary-middle-aged-gentlemen-and-you-are-neither-of-those way. I would definitely order from Pizza Bella again. Call it a second date, if you will.

Michelle is right, CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD ALWAYS BE #1. Two stars and heres why: This place must have gotten new management because when my family and I used to order delivery there was NEVER problem. The past two times i ordered, it was a disaster! Half of the order wasnt right, and they forgot stuff! The only reason they probably stay in business is because when they screw your order up and you talk to a manager, they say "oh were terribly sorry, here is a $3 credit to your next order." Most successful businesses usually refund the whole order, or make a fresh one on the house. Believe me if Pizza Bella was refunding everyone for their mistakes they would be bankrupt. Food is the only reason why this place has any stars because it really is a decent pizza if they get your order right.

I have forgotten about Pizza Bella. I havent been here since highschool. Luckily I got reminded of them when I take my nephew next door to the learning center. To the people that complain that their pizza was cold, you should pick up your food on time. To the people that complain they had yellow and orange pepper on their green pepper pizza, BELL PEPPERS TASTES THE SAME. My service evertime I go there is better than the service I get from chain pizza places. They have real pizza dough and not card board. I personally tend to order a plain slice of pepperoni pizza and a root beer. Who can beat a huge slice and a pop for $4.50?? No one.....Ill be back next time I take my nephew to the learning center.

Im a fair person. I know small businesses usually do their best to make amends when a customer has a negative experience. No restaurant is perfect. And a side note: Ive worked for several medium-to-high class pizza restaurants and know how hard it is to keep customers happy. This however, is a first for me: Ive never had a manager flat out fail to remedy a small problem to salvage the business of a previously loyal customer...until now! I called to get the free pizza we were told was credited to us and the manager told me their computer system said they had already sent a free pizza before. Sorry, never happened. But thanks for essentially calling me a liar. I will not be ordering from Pizza Bella again.

Just love this place. Im a pizza snob and use to go into city for Pizzanos, Chicago Pizza & Oven Grinder Co., & Pequods. Simply stated, I dont need to any more. Pizza Bella is as good or better than these world class pizza establishments. I recommend both their "Double Dough" and their Chicago Style but thin crust & stuffed are also excellent. Bella is extremely generous with their toppings. Their pasta dishes are also excellent and you can get them for cheaper than you could cook them, if you order from Bellas Daily Dinner Specials menu. Ive been eating at Pizza Bella one to two times a week for the past three years and I can honesty say that I have never had a bad or even "so -so " there.

Bland bland bland - very disappointed This is the second time we have ordered from Pizza Bella and sorry to say, we will not be ordering from here anymore. While the ribs were pretty decent, the calamari was bland and tasteless. The biggest disappointment was the pasta we ordered. $17 for pasta with broccoli, ricotta, garlic & oil and we added scallops. Flavorless and bland and there were three - 3 - scallops in the entire dish. I dont salt anything and I had to add salt to everything from the calamari to the pasta. Our entire bill with tip was about $55 and we seriously would have been happier with fast food compared to the taste and value of this meal. Sadly disappointed.

My absolute favorite place for Chicago-style deep dish pizza. There is something magical about their sauce - it tastes so great! Yeah, it takes a while to make - thats the nature of deep-dish pizza, so plan for at least an hour wait! Some folks have complained about the service being rude. That has not been my experience at all. They have been super-nice to me and my family. Ally is a peach! On one occasion they gave me someone elses pizza by mistake and called me at home before we had opened the box. They sent a driver out right away to exchange the pizza. It was great for me - maybe the other guy was a little upset.
