DELICIOUS (and fast!) To be able to run somewhere on my lunch break and have a fresh, well cooked and delicious meal prepared and have time to enjoy it is rare- but this establishment provided that experience for me. The Christmas decorations and amazing music (I believe I heard the legendary Fairuz) created a very comfortable and warm ambiance. The food itself was excellent! The hummus was just the right texture and had a nice hint of citrus to it from the lemon juice, the pita bread was soft and warm and the meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. Also- this restaurant uses fresh basmati rice which if you have not had- you will love it! Overall I strongly recommend Shish Kabob Rosemont to anyone who enjoys Middle Eastern Cuisine or has never tried it before! *Target Optical Rosemont Approved!*

BEWARE! Food was ok but was deliberately CHEATED by the waitress who pretended to misunderstand our order, all appetizer dishes ordered were converted to sandwiches which meant a difference of $5.00 on each dish, so a $2.25 dish becomes $7.25 or so. We also asked her if one of the main entrees could be shared between two people - this should have clearly told her that we were not familiar with middle eastern cuisine and did not want to order too much food. The bill was brought up to almost $70 and she also failed to give us the itemized bill, I had to ask her for it because I had no clue it would come to almost $70. I was convinced this woman knew we were tourists and ripped us off. We left almost $30 worth of food behind in our motel fridge. I would not go back ever.

Restaurant open for only 10 days. Pretty busy. Say they accept credit cards on the door, but werent set up yet for it. Had to walk down to the liquor store ATM. Ordered a falafel sandwich and cup of bean soup. Paid $8.50. Took it to go. Falafel was a little dry. Very tasty though. Pita seemed home made, VERY VERY good pita. The soup was really good, needed salt though. The owner was very busy, seemed a little disorganized. I can understand since shes only been open 10 days. Busy location. I hope this place really succeeds! I would definately go back, going to try the shawarma next time :-)

This place isnt fine dining, its a hole in the wall place that serves good food, and is an interesting while not "over-powering" cultural experience. Dishes range from lamb and whole bone-in fish to beef shish kabob. The food was great, and its a family owned business buying expensive ingredients, so prices are a little high, but nothing terrible. I personally recommend the lamb, and the turkish coffee. The staff was friendly and accomodating. In short, the experience was very positive, and I would recommend this returaunt for anyone who isnt afraid to be a little bit adventurous and enjoy a good time.

I went to Shish Kabob about a year ago for the first time and it was ALRIGHT. I went in this weekend as this is the closest place to me(living in Des Plaines) that has more authentic food. The place is under new management, met the owner and his daughter and they were very nice and attentive. Seems like theyve changed up the menu a bit but the food was delicious and service was great! Im glad something told me to go back there because this will definitely be a frequent stop for me now that theyve switched it up.

We went here today for lunch. This was the worst experience I have had in a long time, and it is very clear that this restaurant is unaware. The waitress that seated us was covered in sweat, and looked like she had no showered. As she walked around her flip flops were getting stuck to the floor, making loud noises...clearly confirming the floors do not get washed. The food was terrible, our order was wrong, and the taste was bland. I recommend going to the mediterranean restaurant right next door instead.

We ordered some beef and chicken kabob and while eating it metal part came out in my friends mouth. Its whole metal string inside the salad. Metal could be stuck in my friends throat and He could be end up in hospital if he didnt realize it wasnt a food. Then we return back to restaurant to ask about the situation, owner said "what do you want guys?" with no apologies, nothing. He was so rude. This place needs to change its attitude and food quality. We were lucky but who know next customer doesnt?

Was on my way to Naf Naf Grill and saw the business lunch special and turned around and went inside. The staff was very nice and we were hungry and ready to eat. We ordered two businesses specials expecting an nice platter of food but it was sub par. The rice was undercooked, the salad was just ehh, one small falafel (thank god we ordered a side of falafel), a small dollop of hummus. a small spoon full or chicken and steak. I am expected something like PITA INN but greatly disappointed.

Lovely experience with excellent food and hosts! Alex was so nice and humble and so was Mr. Zaki, the owner of the place. Im surprised this place is underrated because it actually is pretty darn good. It takes you to the actual roots of Mediterranean cuisine and you leave the place with a big happy tummy and smiling cuz it doesnt feel that heavy! No excess oil or fat. Lovely flavors. My favoritest thing that I just HAD TO take to go was the white bean stew! Omggg! GO TRY IT OUT NOW!

I always order the Business Lunch Special. It is absolutely delicious. And enough food to make you full for the remainder of the day! The Turkish Coffee (an always for me when i visit) is AMAZING! The presentation is great as well. The flavors of the food and the coffee combined with the customer service and overall happy feeling you get in the restaurant is GREAT! I always leave with my cravings filled and a happy tum tum!

I was in Chicago for vacation and stayed at a local hotel. Trying to find some health and delicious food, I came across Shish Kaboob and came across the best hummus I have every tasted. The food was very delicious and the prices was extremely reasonable. The service was great, very friendly. This place made we wish I lived closer so I could be there more often

Very friendly service. I chose the curry chicken. It wasnt very spicy, but I was expecting India spicy, so that may not be a fair assessment. The taste was still good. The pita served with my meal seemed slightly stale. Overall the restaurant is an authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Ill come back again and try the kebab next time.
