I have always loved Checker burgers and fries. I like it so much that I use to take special trips to the location in Chicago wishing that they never closed down the one in Melrose Crossing years ago. Now to the review... depending on what time of day you go, it can be very busy at the Broadview location. I think that both facilities one on the corners of St. Charles and Mannheim and the corners of 17th avenue and Roosevelt road are some what hard to access depending on what direction your coming from. As far as the service at the Broadview location I have not encountered anything wrong. Of course I have patience and I go late in the evening after rush hour so I cant vouch for the other 2 reviewers. I have never eaten anything less than quality food from either location. Please check them out yourself and dont listen to others. Great food and I am certainly glad your back in the neighborhood! :)

If this franchise cares about its business here in Bellwood failing than they should find out why customers are receiving cold foods on more than one occasion . Kinda have to question if your getting an old burger thAts been sitting there. They have to have good management that runs it the same way as when it opened.! Otherwise it starts to go down hill. They have to hire employees that have certain qualities that keep the business successful. Havent gone there anymore since Ive had these experiences. Dont want take that chance of getting sick if the food is old and left out ? also waiting a long time for order event if cars arent lined up Nd still getting acold food

Food was cold and made wrong. Took about 15min just waiting for my food in drive thru and the employees had attitude. Also manager had attitude when I called his attention to the window about my cold food. All he did was give me an excuse saying it got cold over the wait period of the drive thru. But that is not my problem. As a paying customer my food should have been fresh and hot and if its cold they should of RE made it then. Luis hicks is a horrible manager every body does what they feel like in that checkers and everyone has attitude.

Terrible service. It seems every time I decide to go they have problems. Today I went up to the drive through and the burger grill wasnt working. How can your specialty be hamburgers and you have no grill? The drive through is only one way in and narrow so you cant get out if cars are in front of you. Im not going back again. That location wont be in business in a year or two because of the service.

Very slow service and from the reviews I guess its not a one time thing, waited for about 20min for just a burger and fries, there was only one car in front of me. They also gave me the wrong drink which was flat. And saw one of the girls giving change, touching the drive thru window and going back to the food with the same gloves on. Wont be going back

The service at this checkers is horrible I had to wait 20 minutes just to place my order. I was waiting for my food for 15 minutes I went up to the window to see what was taking to long to found out they gave my order to the wrong guy who was gone so I had to wait another 15 minutes so they can make my food again.

Decent food but the wait time was horrible! 5 cars past us up before we got our order in through the walk up window. Then another 7 minutes until our food was given to us. Two employees working.
