service was bad, food was even worse! I had the chicken mole, and it was awful!! Usually you stew the chicken in the sauce until its tender, but it looked like they boiled the chicken in water and then placed it the oven to dry up... They served it by putting the sauce on TOP of the chicken!!... The chicken was soooo dry and rubbery that you couldnt even chew the chicken to pieces. My step daughter had the chicken fajitas, and it looked like they used the same boiled, dried, rubbery chicken and stir fried it to make it look like fajitas! What a rip-off. It looked like they were trying to save money by cooking the chicken ahead of time and adding the last ingredients (i.e. mole sauce, fajita mix, burrito ingredients, etc.).... I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they want to get sick when they get home.... both my husband and my step daughter threw up when we got home! Lucky for me, after taking a few bites of my chicken and saw how bad it was, that I lost my appetite. As for the service, the waitress had better customer service than the manager! After I told him about my food, he just walked off! The waitress was the one who came to me and apologized.... wow....

This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! The building has nice decor, and is always very clean.You can barely tell this was a Wendys once your inside! They have a huge menu, with large portions, and great seafood. Jose, as well as the rest of the staff is always friendly, helpful, and glasses never go dry. This is not a tex-mex restaurant, so dont be afraid to order something other then a burrito, or tacos. I have eaten hear 30+ times since opening, and most of the time the food is amazing! If you had a bad experience, dont be afraid to try it again, but on a different day or during lunch.

We were in the mood for Mexican Food...and so I wanted to call and ask a couple of quick questions. I politely introduced myself and was to told to make it quick, because the woman who answered the phone, Miriam, informed me that she had tables to wait on and I needed to hurry up. I didnt even make it past introducing myself. I told her not to worry about it and hung up. I was willing to give this place a chance, even though there is no menu, no website etc. Well Miriam, continue waiting on those tables. From what I read online, you guys arent that busy anyway. Youll have one less table to wait on.

Went there 2 separate times. First time food was ok and service was bad. Second trip I went drive through, and the speaker for drive through is broken and a note on menu board said to pull up to window to order. Well I got ignored for about 5 minutes at the window even though I made eye contact with 2 employees inside, and there were only 2 cars in the lot. Busy night? No one came to the window to take an order so I left and wont be back.

Weve been coming here for many years and never been disappointed. The gentleman who runs the restaurant has great customer service and always has a smile. There is never a huge line. The only reason why there isnt many people in there is because Rt. 59 was revamped and a huge median was put in the middle, thus, making it hard for all businesses on that side of the road. Great food, great service.

What can I say? Heres another fine small business, located right down the street from our shop. La Adelita has fantastic, authentic Mexican food. And for those of us hard working HVAC contractors who may not always have time to stay and eat in the dinning room,, they have a drive-thru. Great food and the convenience of a drive-thru. You must try La Adelita.

My fiancé and I come here often when were in the mood for some good Mexican cuisine. Its nothing fancy, but they have delicious foods and really good Margaritas. (Theyre half price on Tuesdays and Thursdays ;) ) The service is usually decent, but sometimes they are short staffed and it takes a bit longer to get your order taken, or a drink.

Really good and authentic tasting food at a good price. I ordered the carne asada taco dinner and the meat was flavorful and the rice/bean combo was awesome. My friend ordered the salsa Verde enchilada dinner and she liked it. Id definitely go back! The reason for the 4 start rating was that the service was just OK.

This was awful I originally wanted Ceballitos but they were closed so I told my boyfriend we can try this restaurant and what a horrible choice the only good thing about this place was Sabado Gigante I ordered a steak burrito n I am not even sure the meat was steak!!!! Never again will I eat here

I love this place!! Margaritas are good food is good and staff is nice!! I have been here several times and and every time I get something different and everything has been great. Also, its awesome that this place has a drive thru too!!

Went in on a Sunday @ 7pm. Sat for 15 minutes and did not get even a drink. The guy that sat us down was doing everything, he might have even been the cook! Lots of people waiting for food and drinks. Get more help!

While not much to look at from the outside, La Adelita has some of tastiest, varied selection of Mexican food in the greater Plainfield area for quite reasonable prices. Highly recommend it to all.
