Went there with 3 other people. One persons chicken flautas were cooked in oil that tasted like fish and my beef tacos were so greasy that the oil was pouring out of the shell. When we went to get a replacement, Adriana, the lady at the counter, argued over replacement. When we asked to speak with the owner she said "good luck because he was on vacation until Jan 3rd". The owners brother was there and he gave us back the refund for the flautas. Sad, because of Adriana rudeness that I have to post this. We go there twice a week, and she got an attitude over a replacement. Every business makes, mistakes, but its how the crew deal with it that makes a person leave happily or complain.

I end up at this place everyone once in a while because it is open late, and has a drive through and I usually regret it. To be frank, the meat here is extremely poor quality. It is extremely gristly and stringy, and it tastes dried out and it seems like it has sat out for several hours, and perhaps reheated multiple days. Even during peak rush hours, the food tastes anything but fresh. The veggie buritos are a little bit better, (albeit still overpriced) but when I ordered one today, when I bit into it, I was chewing on their terrible steak.

The last two times Ive gone to this place the food was horrible. The guacamole had a bitter almost out of date taste. The quality of the steak tastes very cheap, and is not seasoned well at all. The cheese that was on my torta tasted expired too. My tortillas also tasted like they came out of the microwave. -_- In addition, the waiting time is terrible and the customer service is as well. To top it off I am Hispanic so I KNOW how all this food SHOULD taste.

This place has a large selection of food to choose from. I was very pleased with the enchiladas and tamales. My husband got a steak and potato burrito too and loved it. Best thing about this place is that they have a drive thru. We have a lot of kids and sometimes it is just easier to let them eat in the car. I love that my husband and I have another option of fast food that is home cooked style!

Worst mexican food I have ever had. I had steak tacos and my dad had a pork burrito. The food is very watery with no flavor. When my dad held up his burrito about half a cup of water was running out of it, while the burrito was falling apart. He described it as wringing out a wet dish rag. Like I said, worst mexican food we have ever had, would give it zero stars if that was an option!

Waited for over half an hour just for 2 tacos. Ignorant employee at drive thru window, handed me a opened spilling drink and continued to stare while offering no help or napkins as it spilt everywhere. When I asked for some napkins the girl just said well there should be a napkin in the bottom of my bag somewhere and walked away, ignoring when she heard me ask for another anyways.

They serve authentic Mexican food, which is far better than Chipolte, and theres more on their menu to choose from. I ordered a fiesta burrito, which in hindsight was too much food, so I took the other half home. All of their food is made to order in just a few minutes. There is even a drive-thru window. I cant wait to try their breakfast burritos.

Went here multiple times throughout the year, and every time the meat (BEEF) was too oily, and seemed to be lower quality. They should use higher grade meat and drain the oil properly. Its better to use higher grade meat and drain oil with higher prices, than it is to use low grade meat and be lazy by not draining off oil with having lower prices.

Awful food. worst place around. Nothing but fat filled and clumpy meat. Tried time after time to give this place a chance and they always fail. Only people that eat here are those who dont know what real Mexican food is. These owners should be embarrassed to be serving such untastful food rather eat at Taco Bell.

Ive been coming here for years. Still my favorite take out spot in Shorewood. I usually get a veggie burrito with avocado, but the nachos, tacos, and poppers are great too. The horchata is a little watery for my taste, but I still get that too. Would highly recommend for take out.

I regret spending my money here. The chips were stale and the food was not good. My tacos had sand in them from the cilantro that was not rinsed off good. The gorditas were horrible, so bad I gave it back. Dont waste your money here total and utter disappointment.

Had the chimichanga. Steak was tough and the seasoning was horrible. Cheese was good. The Green sauce was terrible. Would not go again. Taco Mex on Essignton Road in Joliet is way better. Steak is great as well as the seasoning and the green sauce is great.

Their steak fajitas and elotés (roasted/grilled corn on the cob w/butter and mayonnaise, queso fresco (a crumbly Mexican cheese), with cayenne pepper/ground chili powder) are great!!! Trust me. Order it.

They had to wheel me out of here in a wheelbarrow after I finished the burrito I ordered. They also give you access to horchata refills in a HUGE bucket that I could not even begin to handle. Loved it.

Im tempted to give this place another try after reading the positive reviews, but this food was kind of nasty the last time I was there. Update, after trying this again it was not bad.

They say they close at midnight have stopped by there twice 20 minutes before midnight and the lazy lady says there closed. Is it 12 or 1130? Just be honest

As most of the reviews say their meat is poor quality and poorly seasoned, and on top of that its dried out. This is probably the worst Mexican food ive had.
