This is hands down the best Chinese take out in the Crest Hill / Joliet / Plainfield area. Ive tried every place (dragon light, china house, china cook, etc) and all those place have maybe 1 or 2 things they prepare particularly well but the rest is hit or miss. Lucky Bamboo is fantastic EVERYTHING is well made past 5 times i ordered from here i buy bought extra thinking id have leftover and me and my guest cleaned our plates fighting over the last scezhuan chicken. Highly recommend these guys not once over 10+ times ive ordered have i ever been upset with my food. They get it right everytime and make it delicious 5 stars all the way

Ordered Mongolian Beef and Chicken Pad Thai. Drove home, I was given the wrong order. I was given Kung Po Beef, loaded with peanuts, I didnt see any beef. Maybe they gave vegetarian. The Chicken Pad Thai, also had a lot of crushed peanuts, the chicken was so dry and tough. When I called I was told Chicken Pad Thai is dey, Im aware, but not so dry , then add peanuts to make it worse. I called, tried to get at least some of my money back. I was told no. I wasnt about to go back and get another order of anything. What a waste of $30.

This is one of the worst customer service experiences in a long time. Order was wrong, just called to tell them and was told I didnt take order than I go to the next person and he did not take the order. I did not want anything other than to tell them an item was missing and my husbands food had onions when he asked not to. But instead no I am sorry about that..instead I go a lady who wanted to argue. Never eating there again.And we had ordered at least twice a month as my son loved the place. So sad

Have been coming here since the day they opened years ago. Literally. The food is great. The portions are ridiculously huge, enough for two meals. I havent seen the owners in quite some time since I have been away for five years, and yes the inside service without them is little to be desired. Though I got what I ordered quickly and was not disappointed. This is still my go to place when Im in Joliet.

This is my staple Chinese restaurant, the food is consistent, always hot, packaged well for carry out. Entrees come in plastic tupperware style containers which are sturdy and leak proof, perfect for grabbing a great meal on my lunch break.

I love Lucky Bamboo. I grew up in a family that cherished, and was harshly critical, of American-Chinese food, and this place has fed me well for the last 14 years. As far as restaurants go in this area... Lucky Bamboo is a jewel.

Horrible food and horrible service. They messed up my order, said they were going correct the mistake. They never showed back up after waiting another hour and a half. Never again! What a waste of money and time.

My husband and I love this place. My husband is very picky when it come to food but he loves this place. Our food always perfect no mistake with our order. Very friendly we been ordering from here since 2007.

Good food. Waitress wasnt real attentive, but enjoyed the food. My wife and I ate the lunch special. Total cost came to 15. In todays economy, you cant beat good prices like that.
