I would have to disagree with the other reviewer as I think their burger is much tastier than the small burnt burger you can get at portillos. The price is a bit more than something you can get at fast food places, but the quality is better. I always get a very juicy burger with flavor from five guys over the bland burger Portillos has to offer. I like that I can see how fresh the patties are and watch them being grilled over Portillos sticking in a boiler and watching it come out burnt half the time. Be warned that a burger is two patties and a little burger is one. The fries are fresh cut potatoes judging by the fact you can still se the skin on them, which when twice baked gives it the right amount of crunch. They give you way more fries than humanly possible to eat and you for sure get more than what you paid for. I suggest that you buy a little fry for about two people, a small fry for 3-4 and a large for 5-6. I suggest that because they fill up the cup and then also toss in a full metal pans worth of fries. Unlike Portillos, Five Guys has one of those Coke Freestyle machines given the consumer tons of options on what they want to drink and the flavor they want. That alone beats out Portillos which has limited soft drink options. In my opinion, Five Guys has a better burger, fries and drink selection over its competitor Portillos.

Dont get the allure? Pretty average burgers for way above average prices. Fries are well below average quality. My son and I each got a hamburger fries and a drink each...$28.00+..? Really? You can go to a gourmet burger place for a little less. Id really rather have a Portillos burger, Moo Yah, 9ers, even a freshly made Hardees burger or a Whopper is tastier. I just dont get it. The atmosphere is just blah too. ?? How do they stay in business? I can only guess that the people that rate these Burgers high either have no idea what a quality Burger is supposed to taste like and look like and have never been to a quality gourmet burger shop or are kids that just think its neat to go to a place called Five Guys.??? Do not get the attraction. Once was definitely enough.

This was my first (and probably my last) dining experience at 5 guys. The 2 stars are for the staff, who were outstanding! The burgers were meh - even using fresh ground beef. The cheese is just gross - Seriously, using real American cheese on a 6 buck burger should be a no brainer. (And, a selection of cheese would be a nice offering) Fries were OK but, fried in peanut oil, turned me off. I guess being able to say Ive had Five Guys was worth the 25 and some change for 3 burgers and an order of fries.

food here was solid and consistent with other five guys locations, however this has to be hands down the filthiest five guys Ive ever been to, and possibly one of the dirtiest fast food establishments in general. every table is covered in trash, peanut shells, various liquids/ketchup/sauces, and pools of soda on the floor. (see pics). a germaphobes worst nightmare.

Mean women tried to get me kicked out because of my service animal. Staff handled it well and just asked for my animals ID. Mean lady continued to record me. Staff and establishment are great just watch out for some smug women drinking a milkshake and eating a cheeseburger all alone.

Delicious!!! My favorite place to go for a burger. And their fries...... incredible. It is a little pricey, but so is Portillos nowadays. I love that I can pile on all the toppings I want for the same price.

This restaurant is in the building just east of Portillos. The taste, cost and variety of items are much better at Portillos.They are not bad but in future visits I would head to Portillos first.

Could hear inappropriate staff conversation in the dining room. Bread couldnt handle all the juices, meaning it broke away. Very turned off.
