Reading the reviews of other I was confident that I would get some good, fresh sushi. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Although I will agree that the gentleman that were there were very nice and pleasant, that did not compensate for the quality of food. The salmon was not fresh and had the salty taste that fish acquires when it has been sitting for a while. The shrimp tamboura in one of my rolls was burnt on the ends and the spicy tuna was thick, dark in color and very unappetizing. For someone who REALLY eats sushi and knows what good quality sushi taste like then you will not be pleased with this establishment.

If your looking for good sushi, jewel has what you want. If your looking for amazing sushi, this is the place to be. The fish comes in fresh almost everyday and is very high quality. It is prepared by the owner wife which is a master at her art. They also sell different fish for cooking, which again is the best quality Ive had. The service here is second to non, being a small shop everything is individual one on one service. Go try them out.

This is a take-out place all about good sushi and fresh seafood. Dave and his wife (who makes the sushi) are great people and everything they serve is great. The rolls make not look cheap at first, but they are big rolls so you dont need to order as many as you do other places. Taste is great!

I live right around the corner and I cant believe I didnt realize this place was here! The sushi seemed fresher and of a higher quality than other sushi places I have been to and the price is very similar. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend them!

The sushi was phenomenal. We came out of Glendale heights just to try this place and it was definitely worth the drive. When you enter it is small but not cramped. I would recommend the Sexy mexican, it is simple yet delicious.

I firmly believe cust. service has gone to hell most places. But the owner is super friendly, informative, and not afraid to engage in customers. The sushi is super yummy and the prices make me enjoy them even more!
