Great food! Love it and all. But they have the most rude customer service ever. I feel some kind of racism is set in stone at this place. The waitress there was probably the rudest and most laziest waitress Ive ever encountered! First I asked for an authentic over the fire hibachi dinner, because it was the first time my friend had ever been to a place like this. She refused saying that they couldnt do that for us and that we needed to be seated at a table instead because we were only a party of 2 people, mind you that my friend and I are both of Asian descent. A couple minutes later, a white couple comes along (consisting of two people too!) and right away they get seated in front of the hibachi. Throughout the dinner she was constantly just talking to coworkers, on her phone, or buttering up one of the other customers prior to our arrival. It took us a whole 30-45 minutes AFTER we were finally done eating to get our check. All in all, the food is great. But the quality of the service is just TERRIBLE. Would only ever go there again if I wanted to be treated like I have no worth in their restaurant. Take your money elsewhere, perhaps even to McDonalds. Seeing though their customer service can even surpass Fuji Yummys.

First, I have had Sushi all around the world and have had great experiences, bad experiences, and in between. This restaurant was off my radar on a recent trip to WI. Who thinks to eat sushi in Fond Du Lac. They had just employed a young Japanese man as their new sushi chef. He was awesome. A good sushi chef is a rare talent in the Midwest, so it was a pleasant surprise. I did not try habachi. I think some of the customer service reviews on here may have had some things lost in cultural differences. Was my service as good as some fine Italian places? No, but it was on par with most Japanese restaurants. In all, it was not the best sushi Ive ever had, but it was honestly up there, and 5 stars for the very surprising talent in the young chef from Chicago.

The service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. My wife and I have been there three times and was never disappointed with the food. I love sushi and they have great cooked and raw variations of sushi. My wife and I order the Love Boat (For 2) and they had a huge selection. I am guy who can eat a lot of food but I was not able to finish "my" half of the food. It cost $50, but was a great deal in-comparison to anything they had on the menu. My wife, kids and I really enjoy the Hibatchi portion. Their chefs are amazing and funny to watch.

Bad customer service. There was only a gentleman seated by the sushi bar and my table to wait on. The waitress continuously waited on the man at the sushi bar but only checked on us to order our food, grab our dirty dishes and give us our bill. She was also taking care of her children back in the kitchen. While waiting for our bill, a mouse ran out from under one of the tables. We informed the waitress and she told us "just so you know, this has never happened before." I will never go back.

I came with a group of friends who really talked up the place. Im not a big sushi fan, so I ordered some panko shrimp and a dish from the grill. I got violently ill about 45 min after eating. Personally, I think its the fact that they keep the oil so close to the grill. Oil that is kept around heat for too long can grow bacteria and cause food poisoning. My friends all had sushi and had no issues. If you have a sensitive stomach, dont get anything cooked in their oil!

Ive been to Fuji Yummy twice to order sushi and I love it! The service is friendly and the food is delicious. The food presentation is spectacular and the ambiance is quaint but classy. Its not a huge space, but they utilize it very well, providing two hibachi grill stations and several tables for sushi/other dining. The prices are reasonable and they have great lunch specials! And definitely take your friends there for their birthday! ;)

HORRIBLE!! As soon as we sat down, we were handed our plates and there was still food on them and on the grill!! We ordered chicken and it wasnt that good, vegetables werent even done and the rice was barley warm. They usually bring the onion out and do the volcano, apparently they decided not to do it anymore. The floors were sticky out in the restaurant area and in the bathrooms. Will not go there AGAIN!!

Ive been going to Fuji Yummy for quite some time, and have always found the food quite satisfying.Theyve recently introduced a Thai menu to their existing one. I ordered the chicken Thai fried rice, and found it to be quite tasty. I got the Pad Thai with shrimp the other day but it lacked the spice kick that I was expecting. Will definitely be trying out the other items on their Thai menu in the days to come.

The waitress at Fuji Yummy was EXTREMELY rude. She was so unfriendly that I asked to pay for my tea and left. But I really wanted sushi, so I drove approximately 30 miles to the Sake House in Beaver Dam where I knew the sushi was amazing and the waitstaff were incredible. The Sake House did not disappoint. I had a great meal and left my very friendly waiter a substantial tip!

The food is ok but the bill is always wrong. And one of the main ladies that run it is such a pain to deal with. Found out after going to 3 or 4 times that they have a punch card. Nice of them to let us know. If you need a place to break up with your girlfriend or fire an employee this is it.

Service was appalling. Our waitress was short, snappy and rude. She walked away from me twice just for my slight hesitation on ordering. I should have left but I was very hungry. I am glad I stayed because the food itself was quite good and was the restaurants only redeeming quality

I must say, I was a bit skeptical that I could find good sushi in Fond du Lac, but Fuji Yummy proved to me it could be done. Theyre really the only place in town where youll find good Japanese food. I havent tried the hibachi grill yet, but plan to soon.

This is the most entertaining restaurant I have ever been to! If you order Habatchi, you get to watch the chef make it right in front of you - an experience you will NOT forget! Been there once and already have plans for next week!

New place in Fond du lac and absolutely loved the place. Sushi was excellent as was the Hibachi. The restaurant looks very modern and the service was excellent. My 15 year old loved that they served Japanese soda.
