Of all the times I have been to Sakura, I have to say, this by far was the worst experience ever. The Sushi was good as always, but the service was atrocious at best. They were busy (we went about 1:20 in the afternoon) as it looked like they were just finishing up with a lunch rush. So, when we waited, a very long time to even place drink orders, I understood. However, when the server WILL NOT say one word to you, other than asking you to move to a different table because it was too far at of her way (mind you, it was an extra 5 feet from her last table), that is totally unacceptable. My boyfriend and I made it a point to say, "Thank you" at least two or three times everytime she came to the table - yet, she never spoke one word. She never smiled, never said thank you, would purposely walk past our table and attend to the people around us. She was probably the rudest server I have ever come in contact with. I like the place, I like the food, but after this, Im not sure if I will be returning. Very Very Very unhappy with Sakura, and after today, I will NEVER recommend them to any of my friends or co-workers.

While the food and atmosphere was excellent their policy of charging $1 for each uneaten piece of food is bogus. Three of us visited Sakura and ordered the "all you can eat" sushi buffet at $20 each. When presented with the bill we notice an extra $3 added to our bill. Upon questioning the waitress we were firmly told that their policy is to charge $1 for each piece that is "not eaten". It is not like we wasted food or abused their policy in any way. Considering the dozens of pieces we consumed to not finish 3 pieces, which we were charged extra for, is terrible business policy. We asked to speak to an owner or manager and we told they were not in. Tuesday evening around 7:30 PM. We tried to discuss the matter of policy with the waitress however she did not speak English fluently. Our choice was to stuff ourselves with these 3 little pieces or pay an extra charge. Great food but extremely unfriendly customer business policies and attitudes. In spite of the good food I will never return and go someplace that appreciates my business and treats me with courtesy.

If I could give less than one star, I would. First off, I admit that we were greeted right away and sat. Drinks didnt take too long. From that point on it was a nightmare. We had 3 adults and 4 children in our party. 4 people ordering the all you can eat and then the other 3 were ordering side dishes. The only took 1 persons sushi order and then walked away. We had to chase the waitress down to give her the rest of our order. We never saw them again until they brought us our food and then again disappeared. Some off the rolls were good but I would say overall not that great. When sitting there, we never got any refills or checked on. Then after 30 min of sitting there I had to chase down the waitress to get the bill (in which we were splitting 2 ways). There was a mandatory 18% gratuity. When I politely asked her to remove it from the bill as we only had 3 on ours she refused and said that was our policy. I plan on calling today to speak to the manager or owner. I recommend going somewhere else. This place was horrible.

Went there for lunch yesterday. Went with the all you can eat option. I was pleasantly surprised, i expected quality may be sub par but i was wrong. Everything was fresh and timely. One of the pieces of sushi, Tuna seemed like it was just defrosted had ice crystals in the middlem HOWEVER contrary to popular belief all sushi was frozen at one point to kill any pathogens. So i was ok with that. The fish was fresh and delicious. The specialty rolls were fantastic too. I went there on Tues and liked it so much i am going to go again on friday. I told my wife that i found a new place we have to try. I didnt tell her i went there on tuesday otherwise she would not be happy with me going to all you can eat places twice a week :) even though i work out 5 days a week and am in good shape to but yall know how wives are. But anyway get your bums over there and eat some tasty sushi its waaaaay worth it and awesome!

I have frequented this restaurant probably 20 times over the last 2 years. What some people are saying about it is true. The service can be slow (not 2-4 hours slow). And the all you can eat they have become stingy on... here is how it works: They give you a list of what is on the all you can eat, you choose what you want and how many... you can do this TWICE, which is something they do not always convey to everyone. They assume everyone will order only once and that is it. You will need to ask for a second sheet. HOWEVER!!! Find me a place that is all you can eat that has the same level quality of fish, and as broad as an all you can eat menu for the price ($20 dinner) and I will never venture to Sakura again. This is not a superb sushi house restaurant. It is however a FANTASTIC all you can eat sushi joint !!! 3/5 for a sushi house 5/5 for an all you can eat sushi joint.

My new value sushi place! 15$ all you can eat sushi lunch. Specials were pretty dang good. Not the best sushi Ive ever had but my sister and I went to ra and ate just as much and paid more than double at ra than at sakura. For myself, my sister and her 3 kids under 3, we paid 34 plus 7 tip. Great deal. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The service was excellent and very friendly. They staff are great with kids. The food came out fast, which is a must for a all you can eat place. It makes it easy to order as you go. The menu says it charges 1 dollar per leftover piece of sushi but that wasnt a problem. The waitresses speak good english technically but their accent makes them about 50-60% understandable. This isnt a problem because the menu does a good job of explaining except it doesnt list specials. Specials are on a blackboard. I highly recommend for budget sushi.

Good Sushi, Great prices! Ive ate at several sushi places, and I must say that this is turning into my favorite place to go for Sushi as a main course. Their unlimited menu is a great value, hosting Nigiri, Maki, and appetizers. Although their unlimited menu doesnt have everything, it does have most of my favorite items (and I like the exotic stuff). Although the service can be slightly slow when it gets busy, I dont mind so much because the service and overall experience makes up for it. Its a small restaurant with a casual atmosphere, perfect for parties of two that want to relax. Overall, this is a good restaurant with great prices for hungry people.

I disagree with these servers. I go there at least once a month and Ive never had issued. The owner came by several times and gave my 8yr old son another of his favorite Japanese sodas free. I own and operate several restaurants and I can tell u that the gnats are because the soda guns are not properly cleaned..which is the servers responsibility. I imagine you both got fired for being lazy and not taking enough ownership in ur job to clean the soda guns. If u worked for me I would have fired u too. My only beef with Sakura is I dont know the name of my favorite dish and they dont understand what I want but I keep a pic on my phone.
