If you value your health, steer clear of this place! I TRY not to judge a book by the cover so when I noticed that this resturaunt was next to a GoodWill, internally I thought this was gonna suck but I went ahead and paid $30 for my 2 kids and I. It didnt take long to realize that I played myself by not keeping my cash and finding another place to eat! This place needs a THOROUGH cleaning, which I didnt immediately realize until after I had eaten 2 plates of baked fish.....which was floating in what I PRAY was butter. Given my gluten allergies, all I had was fish and some fries. While sitting and people watching, I noticed very old food dried up on the wall of our booth. Then I noticed water stained ceiling tiles. During my 2 trips to the buffet to get fish I encountered 2 dirty plates that had been dried and placed on a stack of other supposedly clean plates. I was a busboy when I was a teen and I know that sometimes due to high volume, some things get missed as it relates to dishwashing so I was even willing to overlook this. The nail in the coffin was when I looked up at the light in our booth and the light and wire connecting it looked like caterpillars were wrapped around it covered in dirt. I stopped my kids from eating and bolted immediately. Had it not been lunchtime I wouldve run to the nearest Binnys to buy some 151 Rum to burn whatever impurities I had in my stomach from eating at this hole in the wall!!!! If youre hungry and considering eating at Osaka Grill, chew on your toe nails instead!!!!

COCKROACH!!! Ive been here twice before and here on my third time worst horrible view that I could of seen. As I was about to go for my second plate I went and glanced at the sushi bar and on top of the green tin can where they keep the seaweed wraps for the sushi a nasty disgusting baby cockroach on top crawling all over the seaweed wraps! So freaking disgusting man imagine if I hadnt of told the Asian lady there was a freaking cockroach in front of her face crawling all over the ingredients that they use to make the sushi and that people eat! She wouldnt of seen it with her blind self! I honestly wont be coming back I will be calling the will county health service department on Monday its Friday night right now so they are closed but I will for sure be calling them. Im not the one to comment or put any bodies business to shame but this is unacceptable. Told the manager but really had no care what so ever, if it was my restaurant I would of closed it down until I got the situation under control but in this case the manager/owner didnt care and was really ignorant. Id keep my eyes open and alert if I was you if you wish to not hear my warning....YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!

its a regular asian buffet, nothing special. (its nice, though.) i went there with me and a couple other people for my friends birthday, and they didnt really care about asian food much, but i loaded my plate with seafood and i went down on it with the deep crevice in my face that i call a mouth. and it was actually kinda good. i.. didnt get sick. i didnt experience any bad encounter with staff or anything. $8 per person for lunch is cheap for decent food. and the people are actually nice. at a couple buffets around chicago they didnt really give us teenagers as much respect, although they were nice too, but this buffet was spot on with their service. they really shine. and, for the bad reviews.. come ON, people. if you go to a buffet you shouldnt expect the same quality as a good restaurant, you are talking about paying just a bit more than your run-of-the-mill fast food. i can see if you are comparing it to a restaurant thats $50 but you have to give this place some actual leniency. just, chill. dont get too grumpy. anyway, if youre looking for cheap asian food, go here. i couldnt care less. its decent...

For a weekend after reading bad reviews for Mon-Fri. I was expecting more from this place on a Saturday night. For a first time coming in, the guy at the front counter didnt even direct us in. Soon as we paid its as is we didnt even exist. Food was like another person noted.. very bland. Whatever you do dont get the BBQ. It was the most god awful thing I have ever tried. Fruit was okay and service was good, loved the ice-cream options. Lady that attended us was pretty good on following up. After reading many of the reviews, these five star reviewers have to be fake. There was no indication of this place even worthy of a five star. Well maybe the Hibachi Grill. If it wasnt for that Id probably give this place 2 stars. Id say they need to work on customer service and quality of the food. Food was semi-cold in some instances.

Horrible experience! Customer service sucked and the food smelled and taste of refrigerator! The food was cold and old! When we complained about our food the server told us to tell the mgr who wasnt on duty at the time! The young man proceeded to grab thermometer in an attempt prove us wrong about the food being cold! He claimed it was fresh when it clearly wasnt and a food had been sitting out for some time! He called the manager who I in return called myself he was rude and disrespectful and refused to return our money! This used to be my favorite cheap spot but lately theyve been serving unacceptable food! This wasnt the first time this has happened food wise! We gave them the benefit of the doubt but this time it was just ALL around bad food bad customer service!

I have eaten here once and someone else paid..Love the variety. Waitress/waiters need to know more about the foods they offer. Most questions were answered with I dont know and a laugh.... Called for prices to know the cost of the buffet since I had a few people I was paying for, including kids. The man who answered claimed he couldnt hear me asking the cost, then kept saying I dont understand your question, at 2x hung up on me over and over. Unprofessional...His excuse is they are busy.... Horrible customer service. Please learn what customer service is...Not just there to pay for a meal.

Maybe its because everyone talked it up, but I had high expectations that fell short of what I expected. The servers and everyone one were super friendly but I had some of the seafood pasta they made and the fish was very tough and chewy, and considering they had only just opened at 11 I expected fresher foods. The sushi was fresh but very little options were available and they did not let you know what was spicy or not which gave me a real shock when I ate a peice as my mouth was on fire! Overall its ok not the best but not the worst.

I did not like this at all. They are VERY racist. The side people that bring your drinks and all, always keep bothering you like saying "Are you done" like every five minutes. I could never eat in peace with my mother until my mom actually started ignoring her. Unless you are Chinese they dont ask you when your going to leave every five minutes. You could clearly see that they dont like other people besides theyre own race (not being racist) but I wont ever going to go there EVER again. Hated this! Very mad right now.
