Jenkins buffet is a fairly standard fare southern buffet. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, chicken and dumplings, mac and cheese, southern veggies, the whole works. I particularly love the chicken and dumplings on Tuesdays and Saturdays, there the whole reason I eat at Jenkins. The service is generally pretty good, and the place is usually a little busy but not so much that you dont feel you have a good chance at getting what you want.

JENKINS BUFFET MET ALL EXPECTATION OF GREAT SOUTHERN STYLE COOKING. CANT BELIEVE ANYTHING WAS CANNED SINCE WE ARE SO PICKY. PERFECT FRIED CHICKEN, GREEN BEANS. DESSERTS OK BUT GOOD ICE CREAM. SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONALLY FRIENDLY AND ON THE JOB WITH GOOD ATTENTION. WELL BE BACK WHEN TRAVELLING THIS WAY AGAIN. WHAT A GREAT DISCOVERY!!!

Im out of luck! ! I dont know what brought me to this resturant .. nothing as I expected, the restaurant smells like dogs living in it .. food selections is limited and cooked horribly... i had to pay in advance before even see what the food look like. apparently, its never worth the price ... Ill never try it again. Service was ok.

Very rude cashiers.....Bring could not even say thank you after receiving payment.... She should be wrote up and terminated. Very grabby and rude. Food was OK and selection was very small. The bill was $21.83 for 2 buffets. No military discounts here! Not a place that I would come back to or recommend anyone eating at.

Not good!! My wife can cook the whole menu better at home. The chicken is bland and greasy and the rest of the food has basically no flavor. For the price, I could actually go somewhere with good food that actually has taste. The service was fine, but I guess I dont really understand the fad of "southern cooking" YUCK!

Delicious southern style food, and very friendly service, from the hostess to the cooks and kitchen staff that restocks the food on the buffett. It was really nice that they acknowledge you and ask you how you are today while doing their job. Its a wonderful place to take your family to eat.

I was there last Saturday for my first time. I have to say that it is a really good buffet for anything southern. At this buffet there is plenty of food for one small stomach, not like Golden Corral where there is too much for one small stomach. I will definitely return to Jenkins :-)

What the?... Down here on vacation . This place wasnt even close to good country cooking. The mash potatoes where INSTANT! The fried chicken was tasteless. I hate to say it, but the Golden Corral in "any given city " USA, is closer to country cookin than this place.

Was there last Friday for lunch. Food was superb and waitress was very friendly and kept our drinks plentiful. I didnt give five-stars because not long prior the lunch was not as good as that day. Loved their desserts, too.

Just tried this place for the first time, and was blown away by the quality of the food. The fried chicken is the best in Chattanooga and the desserts were so much better than any buffet.

I eat there often. Love the pork roast and chicken dressing on Thursdays. Hamburger steak with mashed potato covered in gravy on Wed. Try the pineapple pudding if they have it for desert.

Food was just ok nothing you talk about or complain about. The server was nice. However I never saw them changing out pans just dumping new food over old. I was there for about an hour.

Most of the food is canned, the mashed potatoes are instant and the young hostess pops her gum, so loud sounds life a gun going off, very rude. Would not recommend it.
