When I heard about this place I was curious as I have heard from the grape vine that this is the bees knees of "Asian"ish food claimed by many "minorities". Initially I would say it may have been, I didnt feel like a minority waltzing in so that was a pleasant start. They had some awkward tacky looking statues, clean tiles, and this general feel of "Vegas buffet" which added to their credit. Perhaps the hope I had would be that this place would be uncompromising food, tailored to those of Asian descent and nothing watered down. They had dim sum, sushi, mongolian grills, crab and lobster just to name a few. Oh and of course generic Chinese american food like orange chicken but hey, it sells I guess. Its all stereotyped but hey, what sells will sell. So where did all of this go wrong? Well it is a buffet for starters. Maybe I am not a buffet person anymore but after my 1st plate (going in 6), everything started to taste the same: soy sauce covered _____. If it didnt seem like it should have soy sauce, it still managed to taste like sodium laden, soy saucy _____. The ____ is pretty much everything they had, well except their dessert. The lobster was so rubbery I could probably use it to knock out the complainer to the table next to me about how "there are too many ___". The dim sum was...steamed way too long, neglected, and generally unloved by its creator. Oh did I mention you will need to fork over $20+ dollars a person to eat here? Maybe if you want lots of variety at once it may not be a bad deal, I suppose it is just not for me anymore. The desserts were nothing special either, it all started to run together, including the cotton candy. The good: if you want lots of "Asian"-ish variety in one sitting not a bad place. Maybe not a bad place to pressure "that one friend" you have to try something new for once.Man there are a lot of "" in this review. The not so good: not the best representation of culture, soy sauce covered everything, expensive, and generally flat tasting food but hey, its a buffet.

They have lobster starting 5 pm every Wednesday and Friday. I came here with my family on 8/17/16 right when they opened at 5pm. My wife and I each got half a lobster within 5 minutes. I also partook of the crab legs that they had in abundance there. I went back twice more for the half lobster. The line for the lobster was only 5 to 15 minutes from 5pm to 6pm. However, the lobster line became 30-45 minutes long for the lobster from 6pm on. As we were leaving at 7pm, they started handing out 1 whole lobster per person waiting in line. I guess they ration the lobster according to how much they have on hand. This place also has a bar and a hibachi grill along with sushi. They also had some esoteric kinds of dumplings that Ive never heard of. I ate 20 legs of crab and one and a half lobster plus other food like shrimp, turbot fish, duck, mushroom, and rice noodles. It would have cost a lot more than the approximately $30 per person they charged if we had eaten this at Red Lobster. The facility is large with many tables. I deducted one star because the washroom floor was wet and slippery. It was also dirty.

This is the 2nd time I tried this restaurant. My husband and I didnt care for it the first time. (I actually became ill after eating there the first time.) My friends who have gone there (and my son) all love it (especially for dinner) so I went back and tried it with a friend this time, but again for lunch. My friend liked her food. I felt the same about the restaurant as I did the last time. The food was cold, the salmon did not taste fresh, and I found the restaurant to feel dirty - especially the ladies room. Perhaps I would be more tolerent if it wasnt over priced. I feel that when you pay over $30 for 2 people to have lunch, at the very least the food should be hot and the restrooms clean. Although most people have told me that they think they are getting a good value when they eat dinner there and they enjoy it, I will never go back. The quality of the food should be consistent no matter what time of day you go there. Im glad my friend at least found it to her liking. They asked for my rating so that is what they got. Just my opinion. You dont have to agree with me.

This place is clean and well spaced. The selection is Asian inspired cuisine but it remains integrally within Chinese, Japanese and Mongolian style foods. The Mongolian grill was clean and fast but needed more seasoning. The sushi section is tolerable. Sushi and sashimi rolls were made a bit hasty but its decently fresh so you wont feel sick after eating them. As far as sushi at a buffet goes these are not too bad. You could eat a whole bunch without regretting it after. The Chinese style foods offer a better selection than most with a cool part specifically for dim sum, congee, and even the Chinese pancakes. The rest is a nice variety of higher quality dishes. Seafood here is pretty popular. Dessert offers a freshly made crepe and a big row of cakes, tiramisu, fruits, and ice cream that an attendant scoops for you. Overall this buffet is a bit more expensive than others but its nice and clean with a modern decor. The staff is friendly and fast and theres a lot of space between tables so you wont feel cramped. If youre visiting in town its worth a visit.

Dont Go!! We were referred to go as when we went down to Shaumburg for a family vacation. Other reviews were not kidding when the wait is 30 min for a lobster and crab legs. The amount you get of crab legs is horrible for the wait you have to do. The staff is rude as hell. My mother tried to get a lobster for my father who uses a walker and would NOT be able to wait in line (mind you we were seated in the very back of the restaurant also) the rude ass lade handing out the lobster refused to give my mom a lobster for my dad. So he didnt get one while the rest of us did ( the line was over a 45 min wait at that point). The price you pay is not worth it. The sushi is good and they do have other things I have never seen at a chinese buffet, but I would NEVER go back there again. When I was sitting in my parents truck with my son, a lady came out of the restaurant and threw up. For four adults and my son who didnt eat anything but jello cups and desert it was over 140.00 Totally not worth it and wish we never went there.
