I went to eat a late dinner meal and have a drink. I went to the bar the bar had open seats but there was no where to sit because th ebar was full of dirty dishes. I waited, after ten minutes of standing there and the one bartender looked at me a few times but never acknowledged me. So I went to get the manager and I told her about my experience so far. She walked over to the bar with me and called a girl and the bartender who ignored me she said this gentleman has been waiting and please take care of him, then she walked away. Five minutes later I was still standing and the manager came back overand said to me have they greeted you yet I said no, she looked at the young lady and she said I was busy I will be done soon. I said the the young lady I have managed a few businesses before and a couple have been restaurants and you would not be able to work for me with that attitude. The manager said to me dont talk to my staff like that you dont have to berate them I already talked to them. I said evidently it did no good and furthermore I am the customer and I have every right to bring up their poor customer service skills. Then she said I dont want you to talk to them I said not to worry I will never spend a dime in here I will take my business elsewhere and I left.I live very close to this place I can walk there in five minutes. I have talked to my neighbors about this and two of them said thats why they dont eat there. If they treat customers like that regularly they dont deserve any business. I will never eat there of refer anyone there. Staff is only as good as their managers allow them. If you allow them to treat customers like crap they will. Stay away from this place. My friend said he got sick after eating there. Dont go here

Well my 3 kids and husband took me today for Valentines Day dinner and my husband got sick so I took him home and rejoin my kids and the food was really bad very disappointing. I have lived in the area for over 12 years and last time I was at this location the food was just ok and service very bad however my kids really wanted to come back because it has been years since we have been here so disappointed my daughter order shrimp 2 of choice fries were very bad she eat two and the rest toss out my sons both hated their dinner and my lobster was ok crab was very bad super salted never ever again we will go to any Red Lobster that was the final straw I had a ice-tea that taste was 97 percent water and 3 percent tea the soda was good I took my husband a plate home because he really wanted to attend 150.00 nite a complete waste I would not recommend at all and the bad part we you look around no one seem to be really enjoying their meals bad bad I saw two people tonite complain about the lobster I just did not want to go there because my kids to us out but they were so disappointed that I just do no Want good food this is not it at all if it were free you would not enjoy sorry to put such a negative review but people really need to no

I am done with them! Ive been there numerous times but lately, theyve really lost all the flair that made them my fancy, go to seafood restaurant. For our wedding dinner, we had 3 different servers. No, we werent belligerent and we didnt ask for a different server. It seems they couldnt decided who was in charge of our table. The confusion was beyond frustrating. After all, there were only 2 of us. I didnt think it was that hard to service 2 adults. When our correct appetizers arrived, they were overcooked. A seafood restaurant that overcooks shrimp? Thats less believable than Big Foot. On another occasion, they gave us the wrong appetizers. Artichoke dip and pizza dont look the same. To this day, I cant understand that mix up. A cookie cutter apology was given and back to the kitchen the server went. I guess the restaurant thought it was doing us a favor by allowing us to keep the incorrect appetizers while they cooked the correct ones. It bothered me because if we had never been there and/or were allergic, we mightve been in serious trouble. I dont know whats worse: overcooked shrimp, the wrong appetizer or multiple confused servers. Either way, I wont be back to Mattesons Red Lobster to find out.

The worst Ive ever had the displeasure to attend. This was suppose to be a graduation celebration with family and friends. We did not pounce on the staff with 25 people, many from out if state. We called two weeks earlier to make the reservation, then confirmed it by personally walking into the restaurant the day before the event speaking with the maître d to insure the seating arrangements. When our party arrived at the scheduled time, we were told, "we didnt have a reservation." Not only was this embarrassing, but very disappointing. We could not just move 25 people to another restaurant. We agreed to wait on being seated. It took 1 hour, 30 minutes before our orders were taken, then another hour to be served. But what topped the whole thing off was when the time came to pay our bill. We had to stand in line 30-45 minutes only to be told we could only pay in cash because the register was broken. We were told we could not pay the bill at another register, in the bar or the carry out counter. I will never patronize, recommend, or suggest this place to anyone ever again.

They stole my 20 month old son black gym shoes. My son kicked off his shoes and I didnt notice there were gone until I got home. Once home, I called the Red Lobster Matteson location and the staff member said the shoes was found and would be left up front. When I called back the manager said he couldnt find them and would ask another manager if she saw the shoes. I waited for a response for 6 hours. No return call back so, I called again and spoke with a female manager that claimed she checked and there was still no shoes but will give me a call back and NEVER CALLED. I cant believe how unprofessional the management and staff is at this restaurant. Someone on the night shift stole my son shoes and they have NO remorse or tried to rectify my lose. SAD.

Havent been to Red lobster in a while so I went and had a great time Tameka was my waitress she was absolutely wonderful, she took our orders and the food came very fast and everything was correct. She kept the refills coming and supplied all the napkins, condiments etc early so that every time she checked on the table nothing was needed she made the experience even better than the food

The worst experience Ive ever had @ this location. No 1 @ the door to greet me. Once I was seated, 10 minutes before I had to ask for a manager to see how long it would be before I could at least get some water? Tr hen I got the worng thing and didnt get any bread until I had to ask the manager for some. Will never go to the location in Matteson, IL. again.
