Tried out this place last Saturday night (2/28/09). My girlfriend and I showed up at 6:24 without a reservation. If you know anything about the area, you know there will be a wait at every restaurant on a Saturday night without a reservation. We were prepared for that, and decided to wait for a table when we were told the wait would be 60-70 minutes. We registered for a table at 6:24 pm. At 7:20 pm I checked with the hostess just to make sure I hadnt missed anything, and was rudely told that "We [they] have until 7:30". We werent seated at a table until 8:00 pm - after waiting for more than 90 minutes, when we were originally told 60-70. Waiting 90 minutes normally wouldn’t be a major issue to me, if we were originally told 90 minutes. But the restaurant failed to live up to its originally stated time, treated me poorly when checking in with the hostess and offered no official apology/explanation for the wait. Our waitress, while proficient at providing us with drinks, taking our orders and delivering our food, seemed despondent and uninterested to be there. Granted, the place was obviously busy, but the lack of personal touch detracted from the atmosphere and was not on par with what you would expect for the prices charged. The food was sub-par, as well. I ordered the "special" being Wall-eye served with capers, cherry tomatoes, cheese stuffed tortellini in a lemon/butter sauce; my girlfriend, the Chicken Milanese. The tortellini in my dish was way under cooked (tasted raw), and the sauce too heavy/buttery for the dish. The chicken in the Chicken Milanese was nothing more than a breaded chicken breast with no seasoning, and the dish was devoid of the pomodoro sauce it was described as being served with. After we were done eating, our 2.5 hour visit to Brio was mercifully over. Basically, the place attempts to be a dressed up Olive Garden. Save your money, and get a better meal, by going to the Olive Garden instead.

So disappointed in my lunch at Brio. I have always loved this restaurant, but my most recent meal there was one I would never serve to a guest in my home. Our waiter, Mike, to his credit, offered to do whatever he could to make it better, but the result was still less than satisfactory. I ordered a large chopped salad topped with a sliced grilled chicken breast. The salad was described in the menu as having chopped greens, tomato, black olives, red onion, cucumber and feta. But what arrived at my table was little more than a huge mound of pale green and white iceberg lettuce pieces. There were just a few tiny-- and I mean tiny--bits of other ingredients. The chicken breast was small, heavily charred (burned, in my opinion) and dry. My companions agreed that it was unacceptable. After returning it to the kitchen, I received another salad with some actual greens (spinach) mixed into the iceberg and another small chicken breast that was correctly grilled. No other salad veggies were added. Mike tried his best, but the kitchen only did the minimum to respond. I might try Brio again, (service was great, and my companions were satisfied with their meals), but if I have another experience like the one I had recently, I wont go back.

Food was actually really good! We were impressed! It Is pricey but of course some other places in general are pricier but food wouldnt be good. The food was tasty, our waitress was awesome. Super kind. The hostess on the other hand, was pretty awful. She was an older woman, glasses, reddish/maybe brown hair. Since we came in; instant attitude, unwelcoming, like we were an inconvenience, also rude and unaccommidating. We had 6 total people including a baby, we couldnt use a high chair sitting in a booth, we were fine moving to a normal table with chairs, but it only seated 4 people (square table) since we werent allowed to sit on a bigger table she didnt help us figure out our seating situation.. instead just left. Our 11 mo old was falling all over the booth the entire time. Other than that, good food and good service. They should consider either training her to be kinder, or replacing her. She doesnt belong at a rest. like that with a poor attitude.

Ive been to Brio three times. First, for their happy hour with $ 2.95 appetizers ( full size ) and $ 5 cocktails ( well drink ). Second time, for lunch with my husband and neice and nephew ( yummy short rib sandwich). Third, for my birthday dinner with hub and 4 friends. The shrimp and lobster fettucini was like food Id had in Tuscany. Fresh perfect fettucine. Wonderful blend of spices and even better were the leftovers the next day! Everyone had a wonderful meal. Lasagna a big hit as well as mushroom ravioli and the encrusted beef tenderloin over grilled veggies. Booths fit 6 people comfortably, however the one we had was very dimly lit. My eyes never quite adjusted - teacandles helped a little bit. Brio is also very conversation friendly! Dont order wine by the glass - very expensive and small amount( 4 glasses of pinot noir for two of us added up to $ 38 - oh well, it was my birthday and cost was no object). All in all, well be back.

We had my moms 90th birthday party here, 37 people (4 kids under 5 also) in June of 2014. We couldnt have been happier. The food was very good, the servers, Luis, Joy, and event planner Lindsay were wonderful. We had about 6 (very) senior citizens, and the young kids. The only thing that kept me from saying a 5 was, we had a group photo taken, and a framed mat was signed by all the attendees, but the glare of the mirror prevented some of the people shown. We didnt have a professional photographer, but an excellent amateur. Love this place, more special memories were shared, and I would recommend it...make sure you talk to Lindsay. We are so thankful for the memories we had at Brio with my Moms family and friends!

Yesterday was the second time I have had lunch there. The first was nothing special, but the second. Well. I had a BLT on what they called brioche, I think. The lettuce and tomato were tired, and the mayo I had asked for on the side had sat out so long, the top had started to harden. But the absolute end was when they brought me vanilla pudding palmed off as creme brule. Do they take their customers for idiots? I felt insulted, and immediately sent it back. Someone there needs to consult a cookbook.

Bad hostess, good waitress. Bad Italian commercialized food. Had a claim jumper feel or olive garden. Very salty spinach artichoke dip, my husband said it tasted like a broccoli cheddar soup. The shrimp and lobster fettuccini was more of a linguine than a fettuccini. Too many noodles and not enough of the creamy sauce, oh and the lobster was just one skinny leg meat, the equivalent of one shrimp. The Milano margarita had a lot of bitters and no basil. Would not come back here again.

I have had some really good experiences in the past, however I have to say that tonight was not one of those occasions. Our service was terrible, the food mediocre and in general one of the worst meals I have ever had. Unfortunately our children could not even get a kiddie cocktail or coke that was not either all syrup or totally flat! Just so disappointed!
