The sushi was very good, the bento box was good too, except the chicken. The chicken was dry. The Popeye scallops are amazing but put the spinach to the side and eat that separately. The spinach is still good, but it just doesnt pair with the scallops as well as you would wanted to. Service is great. Same was cold...that was odd for me, but not at all bad.

Rice is dry and never fresh. I keep staying at the hotel next door and trying this place, but it seems like they always cook the rice the day before and reuse it. EVERY TIME!!! The only reason Im not giving the place 1 star is because the tuna and salmon are usually good, but the other fish they serve is very tough.

I love coming to Hirano Japanese restaurant when Im in town. Its a small place but definitely a hidden gem. Sushi and sashimi are always fresh and delicious. I suggest getting a bento box meal. It gives you a good selection of food and very generous sashimi pieces. Worth the trip.

I had some really good dumplings and miso before the sushi combo they offer. Everything was very good, a great break from the westin food options, and walking distance if youre staying there.

I had cold soba and vegetable tempura. The food was a good value and tasted pretty good. This place can be quiet at lunch as well which means quick service!

Great and authentic sushi. Some original rolls and solid on the classics. Only thing it is missing is a full bar (beer & wine only).
