Restaurants Food is ok. I dint like the following mentioned and therefore recommend to read the reviews before deciding to go to this Restaurant. 1. Hospitality: - Water was served after 15 mins. - Person taking menu orders was rude (both with customers as well as staff), running between tables, gave the order as to go ( when we wanted to eat in the restaurant), and waiting to get the tip and bill amount (this made me uncomfortable to write the tip amount in front of him). 2. Food: - Increased vegetables in the Chicken and Beef dishes. - To go had more food then eating in the restaurant. There are other Indian Restaurants next to Taste and we would definitely try to eat over there next time (instead of wasting money and time here).

This is Indian Chinese food and might confuse some restaurant goers or reviewers. My understanding of this concept -or what I was taught in one of my trips to Mumbai- is that its basically Chinese food cooked by people from India with some fusion. As you might be able to tell from my prior paragraph, I travel to India with some frequency. I have been to Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmadabad and had the fortune of eating delicious Indian Chinese IN India. However, as much as I loved it in Mumbai, my favorite is right here in Woodridge! Taste is absolutely amazing and so far everything Ive had there has been good. But no matter what you eat, the Hakka noodles are a MUST. Love it and glad to have a world-class place so close to home.

Very rude for the manager lady to bring takeout containers, without been asked for, while people still eating on table, to force us to leave sooner. If it was closing time, you should have not taken the customer in on first place. if you dont have any problem taking money from customers and charging 18% tips without asking, then please dont try rude tactics. Waiter staff was good and polite. But most of the dishes were not fresh. Disappointment experience. For these reasons, I would not recommend this place.

This place is a little gem tucked away in Downers Grove. If youre coming for traditional Chinese food, then dont come here. This is an Indo-Chinese restaurant and that means this is Chinese food with an Indian twist to it. We usually have the Golden Fried Dumplings in Manchurian Sauce and the Hakka Noodles. The service is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. Their lunch specials are great, a lot of food for a reasonable price. If youre in the area, definitely check it.

I never write reviews, but Taste deserves the effort. Taste not only serves authentic Indo-Chinese food, but champions it in quality and taste. I always wish that more and more people discover this place and its food will have them keep coming back for more. It is a unique local and prominent cuisine from India. It deserves to be explored by foodies for its flavorful and tempting food. You will absolutely love the food here :)

We loved this place. It was our first visit, and the staff was very friendly and helped us make some good choices. The food was all so fresh and well-prepared. Im salivating just remembering it now! A word of warning: if you cant handle spicy food, be sure to ask for it mild!

Run dont walk the moment you see this place, sad excuse for chinese food. The food sucked and lets not talk about the customer service. Anyone whos a part of this place or is even remotely related to it and is reading this.. please do us all a favor and shut it down ASAP.

This is a hidden place in a suburban strip mall, but the food is really good. I always get the lunch special with hakka noodles. Its an Indian/Chinese fusion which is basically american style Chinese food prepared with an Indian flare.

I love this place. Usually go here for lunch and they have amazing lunch specials that are dirt cheap. Manchow soup is a must! I have tired so many things that I cant even pick one that is my favorite. I love it all.

It is by far the worst restaurant I have ever eaten. The server was so rude and the food was the worst of it. Its better that you donate/burn your money instead of spending it here on this "restaurant".

Very good lunch specials. Price is unbeatable, also good quality food. Freshly prepared. Their proportions of paneer and tofu , however, are much smaller compared to the amount of vegetables.

I didnt like the food at all. Food was cold. They used the same gravy for shrimp manchurian and for chicken szechwan. The cold drinks tasted really bad. I m not going to this place again....

Service is very poor. The guy when serving food comes and drops it on the table. Does not seem to serve the plates in front of you. The girls were very good

Bought chicken wings. Turns out for $8 they are chicken lolipops where they are just tiny chicken legs. Waste of money.
