I drive all the way from midway airport just for the coffee cakes and danishes. These are loaded with filling. The cheese,cherry and almond coffee cakes are our favorites. I usually pick up 6 to 8 coffee cakes, it depends on how many people know Im heading over there. They sell quickly so you need to come before 8am. The only place Ive know to come close to tasting as well or better was Fingergut bakery in Cicero, Ill. That place has been closed for 20 years so, Im glad to have found this place. Ive been coming here about 12 years and the 40 minute drive is worth it. Ive never been disappointed.

Ordered 50 cookies for a bridal shower and was a little nervous as the owner seemed extremely unorganized. Went to pick up the cookies and was told that I had never confirmed the order, which I absolutely did, and the cookies had not been made. The owner didnt offer any help, and stopped her husband from trying to help. Great job contributing to the stress of planning a wedding.

Gwen is Fabulous!!! I ordered a cake weeks before I needed it for my husbands birthday then I had a change of heart with the design. She was very sweet about me changing the design and the cake was exactly what I wanted. The Carrot Cake was the best we ever had. Thank you, Gwen

We had 2 beautiful and delicious pies for our early THANKSGIVING. As it was also a birthday we custom ordered a decorated cake. It was very well done and also yummy. Going to get some butter cookies for Christmas guests. Excellent.

I really miss the old owners. Mark made some of the best doughnuts around. Sadly the new owners are not as good. I have been here 3 times and each time the doughnuts have tested like thry were made the day before.

The best bakery in the NW suburbs...by far. Almond crescents, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, anything chocolate...they are the best. And fair prices.

Their brownie bites are amazing, because of the moist brownie and the fudge frosting on top! It is a perfect size for dessert.
