MUCH better than Walmart! Leaps and bounds better with customer service! A few drawbacks though, that give it a lower score, 1. They jam your cell service while inside so you cant look up price match, but Incredibly annoying bc I cant access my MPerks, probably their plan. And, if my husband calls or texts me while Im in the store to get something additional, I dont get his message until Im done and most times I do not want to go back in. 2. While most items are great and well priced. They have a poor selection of some products, or, a few products I have found but at extremely high prices. I buy prenatal pills from Walmart, Nature Made, and the 70 pill bottle at Walmart is $8. And Meijer the exact same bottle is $24!!! AND, on more than one occasion Ive seen items on sale on the self, but they dont ring up and the cashiers never seem to know what youre talking about... Definitely have to make sure to check prices!

Disappointed in produce strawberries had a lot of moldy packages. Parts of the fresh meats were warm cases and meat looked brownish from sitting out in case that didnt seem cold enough. Store felt really warm inside on sunday. My friend i felt the prices were not the greatest. We like the super walmart just north of meijers better. We may go back to check out clothing and house goods at meijers but its not our favorite place to shop. Even though the store is brand new it lacked ac comfort and fresh food was a little disappointing. Customer service was really nice.

Our new favorite store! Were always getting dollars off our trips with the mperks rewards, and the employees always seem helpful and friendly. Plenty of choices, from auto to lawn & garden to clothes and shoes to pets and electronics and toys and of course groceries. Also a Starbucks inside and a bank and a pretzel joint. Often one-stop shopping for us. I give 4 stars, though, for what weve found to be inferior fresh meat here. The local Jewel exceeds in taste and quality. Heres to hoping that improves at some point.

This Meijer is everything a superstore should be. Upsides include the natural lighting, the clean shelves (full and everything in place), the higher-quality selection, and--most importantly--the excellent service. I have had so many people go out of their way to help me find a product or even clean up a mess I made. Employees have smiles on their faces, and they look you in the eye and greet you, rather than awkwardly avoiding you until you approach them. Keep up the excellent work, Meijer Round Lake Beach!

This visit was horrific. I stepped on a banana some irresponsible parent let their kid drop on the floor. By death grip on the cart I did not fall but twisted my knees, shoulder, hip and left arm. A worker put paper over it. Get in line sore and in pain. 1 person in front 5 min. Switch lanes and huge spill of soda on floor. In line for 5 or more min. 1 person in front Finally someone came to attempt to clean floor. Still not clean when I left. I am sore and in pain from their lack of care.

I was so excited when this Meijer store opened! I was not disappointed. The store is super clean, same with their bathrooms. The only thing thats holding this review back from the full 5 stars is their self checkout machines. Every time Ive gone through, the machine always makes me wait for someone to put a code in halfway through scanning my items, which increases wait time for just a few items. Overall though, they are a good store. PS: they have cute clothes.

2 out of the 3 items I went to purchase here did not have tags on them so I had to get out of line to go and retrieve the same items with prices on them which was pretty inconvenient as I was in a rush; Other than that the employees are always extremely helpful and friendly whenever I visit. They took special care to cut some rib eyes to our specifications. I was very impressed by the willingness and want to help in every way at the meat counter.

I grew up in Michigan which means I have always shopped at Meijer , I am extatic that they finally built one close to me. The prices and value are awesome,especially once you signup for MPerks..Ive already clipped apx $20 in rewards! As far as tge walmart comments...well there are two types of people Meijer people and Walmart people if u like standing in line for 30 minutes and everything that goes along with shopping there go ahead.

A superstore to end all superstores. What more could you want? A Starbucks, a pretzel shop, and friendly staff make this the place to go for anything. The prices are decent but I come back for the selection. Their gelato selection alone is worth a trip. Whatever youre looking for youll find here. Clothes, toys, shoes, electronics, personal care, you want it, youll find it. The only thing I havent seen is furniture.

The lady at the stand told myself and other customers I could get the bags of Oreos for 1.50$ instead of the 2.50$ sale price per bag with the coupon But when I tired to use it at the checkout it wouldnt work Because you also had to buy a Oreo candy bar which she didnt tell us !!! I was upset and had them take off the Oreos. Have your people informed and not mislead customers .

HUGE! Thats exactly how I describe this store. Lol its sooo big. Very easy to move around. I really liked how they had everything set up. The process are a little higher then comparable stores like walmart but they also have a few brands that are a little more desirable then walmart. Over all I really liked the store and the employees are great and very helpful when needed.

Nice store, but they need to watch their stock better, particularly with the dairy. I came in three days in a row just to pick up a big carton of half n half and all three times it was out of stock! If they dont carry it anymore please just remove the lable from the shelf so people know better. If i had known, I wouldve saved myself the three trips and just gone to Jewel.

Prices are high compared to Walmart. I expected good customer service for the pricing being high I was wrong. No help from employees. I even spoke with the store director and corporate Meijer. They were bad customer service as well. I was not even allowed to use the store coupon Meijer sent me. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Hopefully they will close soon.

Awful, they didnt honor their pricing mistake. They had the formula that I needed marked at $6.89 buy 2 get one half price. After being told about 15 times "we have to honor it, thats our policy", they didnt. They wouldnt even honor one for me at that price. Disgusted that they didnt keep their word, disappointed in this store that is supposed to revamp this town.

I just had the best experience today at Meijer optical and I had to update my review. Dr. Desai is awesome! I highly recommend seeing him for an exam and fitting. I have never felt better about the health of my eyes and contact lense choice. Not to mention, their contact prices are great - even better than ordering online. Love this Meijer optical - Thank you!
