Our expectations were not met at all. What we had hoped for and paid for was not even close to what we had discussed with the owner Irena. Cake was crooked and very sticky. The taste was nothing like we tasted at her shop. 550.00 dollars for a less than average cake was not even worth the efforts that they supposedly put into it. We could have made a better cake in our own home , or even gone to Jewel for nearly the same thing and a few hundred dollars cheaper. I would not recommend this bakery at all. She would not even offer a rebate of any sort when discussing the matter with her. We had a beautiful wedding till we saw this very less than average wedding cake!

My family and I have been going to Touch Of Sweets Bakery since they opened. Once you try their baked goods youll keep going back. We also, enjoy their homemade quiches, soups and sandwiches. A life saver when I dont have time to cook. Irene has always come through for us for special occasions too, whether it be an amazing birthday cake or catering for get togethers. People always want to know where I got that delicious cake or meal. Thanks Irene!

I ordered a cake at 7:30 am for the same day. I was told it would be ready before noon. I wanted a little bit for the decorating to be finished. When I got it home it was very cold in the middle. Not completly defrosted. This cake was not just made that morning. It was pulled out of a freezer and decorated. I tried it and could tell it was NOT fresh. Very disappointed. It was an 8 inch round cake costing almost $45.00 no filling. Way over priced!

Irene, at Touch of Sweets, did my wedding cake and it turned out absolutely perfect. It was gorgeous. So many people came up to me to tell me how beautiful the cake was and how wonderful it tasted. They not only do beautiful work, the cake was just as tasty. So delicious. I recommend this bakery to everyone! Irene and the staff do terrific work and are so kind and easy to work with!

It is so upsetting that I have to agree with previous post. The moment I saw my sons cake I knew it will be bad. Omg it was disgusting and my guests hated it too. So much money for something so bad tasting. I asked for traditional simple Polish cake and I got a walmart style cake.

Had a great experience ordering cake from Touch of Sweets. The owners are very courteous and helpful.Not only did they deliver a delicious birthday cake but they even purchased a bottle of wine on request from a nearby store. A shout out to the owners for being so awesome....

I live in Wisconsin and ordered a 50th wedding anniversary cake for my parents party in Barrington. Irene was so accommodating. Not only was the 3 tier cake stunningly beautiful-- it was scrumptious! No kidding - the cake was the talk of the party!
