Before getting into any details - KUDOS TO ARGENTINA! (Our server) Shes probably the most professional and courteous server working there! She made this whole experience waaay better. I was so excited about trying this place out. The place looked apparently classy although when we got to our booth, we noticed that the leather from the seats was coming off completely but still, the place looked pretty decent and clean. They have an extensive menu which offers a vast variety of dishes...we tried three main dishes and one appetizer. We ordered the chicken breast fillet with exotic veggies, american chop suey and kung pao chicken with peanuts. The "fillet" in chicken breast fillet were bland, tasteless strips of chicken which literally seemed like they boiled in some water and presented. The "exotic veggies" which are signature in Chinese cuisine for their crispness were completely overcooked, nearly mush. The chop suey tasted nothing more than fried noodles in tomato sauce. The kung pao was the only thing that had somewhat taste to my liking. Seriously man. If you are charging arms and legs from your customers, at least pay a little attention to quality. I know their food looks like too much in quantity but what good is it if we cant enjoy it? Even if they try to justify themselves by saying that this is the "indian" touch to Chinese cuisine, I would have to tell them that they are terribly wrong as it tastes really bad. At least to me. Other than that, we were very honest with Argentina about how we did not enjoy the food at all and she was SO SWEET, she got us two scoops of mango ice-cream which she said were on her to make it up a little bit. Seriously, 5 stars for her!

Horrible customer service. I tried to call and place a carry out order. The following is the conversation. Respondent: Bombay chopsticks how may I help you. Me: Hi. Can I place a to go order? Respondent: good afternoon how may I help you? Me: hi can I place a to go order please? Respondent: can you hold on for a sec? She pauses for a few seconds and resumes again. Respondent: good afternoon how may I help you? Me: I want to place a to go order please. Respondent: this is Sunday morning you can at least say hi and be polite. (in a very rude tone) Me: I already said hi twice. Me: may I speak to the manager? Respondent: she is not around. Me: so you are saying you wont take my order until I greet you? Which I did and you did not listen which is not my fault. Respondent: I said good afternoon three times and you did not say good afternoon. She argues about it for another 2 exchanges(which I dont remember correctly) Me: can I have your managers name? She gives me the name and says thank you. And I hungup. Thank you for the great customer service. Hence the review. By the way good afternoon.

Rating Angle : Vegetarian Food A very frequently visited joint for us, Bombay Chopsticks caters to the taste of all those who crave for Indo-Chinese cusine, as it is popularly termed in India. Their best to order starters are their Sesame toasts which do soak a bit more oil than usual but are worth the try. Their crispy corn also have been wonderful but we havent seen this on their recently upgraded menus. On their main course comes our favorite Schezwan fried rice that we customize to extra spicy owing to the craving spice levels we consume. An accompaniment to the fried rice is the veg balls in manchurian sauce which goes well with our second dish that we order i.e. Veg Chowmein. For all pregnant women who visit this place, be sure to ask them for a non-MSG food which they easily accommodate. Overall : A good value for money in an excellent ambient setting and good customer service minus the waiting time. Be sure to book ahead of time if you are planning to visit this place in a group.

The decor is lovely, so when I walked in I expected a good meal. 1. The server took our order and never came back and never brought my friends drink 2. When the food was brought over my friend mentioned he had a ordered a Sprite but again no one brought it over. 3. The booth we were put in was like an echo chamber (strange but forgivable) 4. The food was terrible. The soup was a spicy egg drop (ok) but it was served with a side of canned corn and tofu. 5. The main course was even worse. I ordered the paneer with tomato sauce (cottage cheese on their menu) and it was awful. It tasted like fried styrofoam with ketchup. The vegetable fried rice was completely flavorless. My friend ordered the shrimp and thai curry. The shrimp was overcooked with tails still on and the thai curry was increcibly bland. This place was an offense to my tastebuds. We spoke with the manager and he comped our meal. Will NEVER come back.

I would give them a negative star if I could. I went there for dinner with my wife. We were taken to our dining spot. We waited close to 15 minutes before someone can attend to us. Not even a courtesy drink order request. After checking the receiving person, she snobbed at us and spoke to other waitress in a mocking tone, "You are just waiting for 10 min. Whats the hurry". Finally, when the waiting person arrived, he did not apologise to us. He himself said "it was ok sometimes". Then, when we asked for few minutes to look at the menu again. Both response were, "we did not hide the menu card from you. It is on the table. Why are you wasting time calling us and looking at the menu." This restaurant charges premium price compared to the neighborhood. Consumers to expect the value and respectable service is point of parity not differentiation. Such a horrible experience.

“Less Indian, more Asian.” This restaurant is not as much fusion as it is Asian. There is not a lot of Indian influence in the menu or food. The Golden fried baby corn is an excellent appetizer. We ordered a few items, but mostly all ended up having the same taste portfolio. Vegetable balls in manchurian sauce, Chinese bhel (which was very disappointing! My friend makes a better Chinese bhel), hakka noodles (the only mild dish), and some steamed dim sums/momos. Eventually got very tired of the overly salty, soy-sauce-based monotone taste profile of all the foods. Although I wouldnt say the food isnt good, it was not up to our expectations and I dont think we would revisit. Visited April 2017

Food was excellent, but poor service. Went there on Sunday evening, that is Aug 14th. Sat there for 20 minutes no one even came and asked us for water or anything. Finally my husband went to the head server to ask where our server was. She sent someone from a different area to take our order. The server assigned was excellent, she was great, but have to say, didnt like being ignored and not have anyone come by for so long. There were 2 servers taking orders around us, but didnt want to take on our table. So go there, if you have plenty of time and are not starving and can wait for a long time. They need to hire some more servers

A friend recommended this restaurant so we went there today. Ambience is relaxing and the restaurant is clean but food is not worth the price and the 30 mins it took us to get there. I dont mind paying if food tastes good but it was way below average. And we ended up paying a lot more than we ate. We hardly touched the food, had to ge it packed. We ordered Hakka noddles, chili chicken, fried rice and orange chicken. Hakka noodles; dry and tasteless. Chili chicken was the worst! It looked terrible and was tasteless. Orange chicken was alright and fried rice had a weird taste. I wouldnt go there again.
