Have been coming here about once a month for upwards of 13 years now (before it was a nasty burger king). The service has significantly trended down hill. The staff is rude and argumentative. Ive attempted to order the chicken poboy sandwich about 4 times and every time Im told we dont have bread. Im a very passive person but I do observe interactions. Rarely has there been a time while I have been here that there hasnt been an issue for someone. The tables are usually dirty and today something was burning while cooking in the kitchen so the whole restaurant was smokey. Nobody would open a door to air it out. The food is mediocre at best. Shop elsewhere, like any business, customers are their business. If they dont have any they are forced to make changes...

Ive been here a few times. Had no problems until about a month ago. Sat in the drive-thru for ten minutes before placing my order. Whoever took my order kept asking me what I wanted even though I had stated what I wanted. After paying they asked me to drive to the front. I waited there for at least 15 minutes. I was just about to walk in and ask for my money back, when they finally brought out my food. Visited today to see if it was any better.... nope. I waited for ten minutes in the drive-thru before turning around and leaving. I will not be coming back. Terrible service. They obviously dont care about their customers.

I have never ever had some one try to call the police on me cause Im complaining about waiting long..while buying fast food.. thats what happened to me on 183rd & kedzie on May 30th at 2:30pm whoever is the manger last name Kelly should be fired imedieately..that was the most disrespectful and rude behavior Ive ever encountered..Ill love Popeyes chicken I even worked for the franchise in the past..but me and my family will never purchase chicken from the one on 183rd & kedzie ever again without accommodate me..you guys should be ashamed of yourself.. that service sucks over there!!! You guys ruined my day

Make sure to beg for napkin, and utensils as they know what youve ordered but prefer leaving you hopeless. Theres an urban legend that says its taken off their paycheck for doing so. But semi friendly staff inside nonetheless. Drive through service can use a little work. Just kidding, A LOT of work. (Seriously, been to this location over the course of 10 years, if it werent for my cravings, I wouldnt stop here, when I do, I dont expect 5 star service, nor should anyone. The second star is only because the food is good, hence my return.) ALWAYS check your order before driving off. Dont be stupid.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. The service there is subpar. Food is consistent, similar to all Popeyes, but customer service left much to be desired. They obviously dont care and show no initiative to be friendly or helpful. Also, the drive through window makes you feel like a criminal. Im not sure if that is the norm in this area, but you dont actually see a person, and I had a very difficult time getting my change when the wind blew it back into the drawer - similar to a bank deposit drawer.

I cannot even begin to tell you how bad this place is on customer service. The faculty here is rude as they come. Untrained. Unprofessional. No respect. And they are never have any condiments. Its always "Sorry were out of that". Its so close to home but Id rather take the drive to Markham. Ghetto is a word Id use to describe this place. They suck at their jobs and they honestly need to fire and rehire everybody in this place. No Im not being dramatic. Go here for yourself and you be the judge.

Went through the drive thru lane today for the Tuesday special. Tried to order 4 specials and was told I can only order 3 in the drive thru. I said ok and as I was placing my order I heard the young lady say. "I aint fixin all them damn Tuesday specials". I kindly cancelled my order and pulled off. Ive experienced slow and poor service from here before, but this was a bit much. Definitely didnt want her to fix my food. Ill pass on this Popeyes from now on.

I spend about $20/month at Popeyes throughout Chicago land. I dont eat out much, so this is a significant part of my fast food budget. But three out of the last four times Ive gone to this location the chicken tasted dry and old. As a matter of fact, about three years ago I called their corporate office because I think I got sick from the food and never heard back from them. I should have learned my lesson three years ago....

the customer service in this establishment is beyond terrible. I went thru the drive thru and noticed I didnt have forks or napkins. I took my order back in to ask for napkins and forks and the employee who had nothing to do with the situation wanted to give unnecessary commentary stating she brought her order back in her like something was wrong with it. Im glad that Popeyes hires people with terrible attitudes

I have previously reviewed this restaurant and giving it a one star rating based on customer service and quality of food. Twice in the last month I have gone back to this restaurant and been completely surprised. The food was fantastic hot and fresh each time. The customer service to my surprise was also fantastic. This restaurant has done a great job on turning it around!

I just came here at 10 pm they said they close at 11pm. They were basically out of everything with a hour left. Clearly they had time to cook more food. In at the drive thru and they were playing lot rap music and it was very hard to hear re person taking my order. This was the worst service ever. I left to got to another popeyes.

I swear this is the worst Popeyes ever. The night time crew was awful tonight. The POS was slow and rude. The Manager was very unprofessional and unsanitary. She picked up fries with her hand and tossed them in with other fries. She was so rude. This Popeyes location would make you want to stop eating Popeyes all together.

i love poepeyes chicken. however they are slighty expensive so i only visit on tuesday for the 2.99 special. this location is slow so be prepared to wait. i recommend those who havent tired the cajun sprinkles on your chicken try it the next time.

This is definitely the best location in the south suburbs. Everytime I come in this location, I am greeted with smile and my order is placed and given to me within a timely matter. The staff and managers make sure all customers are satisfied.

The people that work over the intercom are extremely rude. And once it came to opening my combo meal, the fries, were cold and were probably the last bit they had before making a new batch. Never going back there again.

Horrible customer service. Couldnt bare to complete my drive thru order with the rude and nasty employee. KFC is around the corner. She needs to be fired with manager who lets her talk to people like that all day!
