This place has really gone downhill, those pics from google are from way back when this place barely opened. Everything is quite dirty. We went on a Tuesday around 4 pm and there was dry, old food in some trays. The other trays had old leftovers from the entire day. No variety. The only good thing are the crab puffs and the fact that there is the option of them cooking the food in front of u. Which in my opinion, the gentleman behind the grill wasnt too bright being that he mixed my food with someone elses, so i got half my order and half the other guys order. Our waitress didnt speak english which was a bummer since there was a fly buzzing around and landed on my tea. When i asked the girl for another tea she didnt understand why. I will never come back here.

I REALLY HATE THIS PLACE !!! I WENT TO GO EAT WITH MY FAMILY THERE TODAY & MY WIFE LEFT HER PHONE IN THE TABLE, AFTER WE LEFT WE CAME BACK 45MINS LATER & SHE CALLS THE PHONE THREW MY PHONE & IT STARTS TO RING IN THE SERVERS POCKET, ONCE I TOLD HIM THAT HE HAS MY PHONE THAT I LEFT THERE WHEN I ATE, HE HAD THE MANAGER COME UP TO ME & SAY THAT I NEEDED TO LEAVE, SHE CALLED THE GURNEE POLICE & THE POLICE SAID THEY COULDNT DO NOTHING JUST A REPORT OF THE PHONE BEING STOLEN INSIDE THE RESTAURANT !!! THESE CHINESE/JAPANESE SCRUM BAGS ARE SO POOR THEY GOTTA STEAL THEYRE CUSTOMERS CELL PHONES SINCE THEY CANT AFFORD THEYRE OWN !!!

This place has cheap food and it shows. The sushi is subpar hence the price. From the hot foods i tryed it all seemed to be either to bland or have some sauce covering the outside from the inside fried portions. The only saving grace i could find was the jello and what looked to be hostess cupcakes from which i believe they just took the wrapper off and put it on a platter. Save your money whichever small and put it towards a nonbuffet style restaurant. Servers were also on point roaming around to take care of table service. Probably wont ever be back here.

Its what youd expect from a Asian buffet, outdated and poorly maintained, but has a variety or dishes. The Hibachi grill is a nice idea but staff doesnt recognize your diatary requests each time and then will mix the utensils with the neighboring order. The hot tea tastes like warm water. The sushi bar is pretty standard and they present their unusual deserts in a circular iland that looks pretty cool. Mind you this is from a vegans standpoint so trying to be fair without eating much variety. Bathrooms need renovating.

Okay where do you start. If it wasnt for all the cars in the lot I thought the place was closed for a lifetime the way the outside looks. But I really dont care what the outside looks as long as the food is good. . I had the sushi wasnt that good. The rice tasted like it was a week old. Main entrees lack of selections some entrees were flavorless. Some was like eating a rubber band. Some was cold. I would not go back there again. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Good food, beautiful decorations. Needs some help, but not a lot. Landscaping, bathrooms are broken. But hand painted murals! Hot food on a saturday night! Decent tasting! Some boothes are upholstered in leather. Someone has been putting work into the place. No service, but who cares at a buffet? They have a green light for military suicide awareness. Didnt try hibachi, but the cook was looking after his dishes. I paid attention to his cooking. Ill be back.

The Habachi line has fresh eggs to order, ribs, shrimp, veggies, thin sliced beef and fish. You can ask the Habachi chef egg whites and soy sauce, Habachi, sesame sauce or just plain water. Line is very popular during meal hours. The Chinese foods are fresh and someone walks around making sure more food is cooked fresh. You can tell people visit this place even though its in middle of nowhere in Gurnee Mills which is 45 minutes from downtown metro Chicago.

Above average This place is above average on flavor and service, but not top of the line. Their sushi is great, though. That alone is worth going to this restaurant for. The rest of the food was good. Some of it was stale, but we were coming in at the end of the dinner rush, around 8:30, so its to be expected. But, if you are a sushi fan, $10.45 for an all you can eat sushi bar and hibachi grill is well worth the time.

Went to Lunch Buffet couple of times. Totally love it. Have wide variety of Food (Starter, Soup, Chicken, Seafood, Sweets, Ice creams, you name it). Friendly waitresses, Chefs & Ambiance. Chicken Soup, Chicken Fried rice are favorites. Its "Heaven of Food". Vegetarians Like it, Non-Vegetarians Love it. Totally worth more than what you pay. You cant get good food for this price anywhere else.

Excellent food combined with great customer service made our special birthday party for my wife a memorable success. The managers and servers took great care of our guests as we celebrated in one of the private event rooms near the lobby. We are very grateful for their warm hospitality and professionalism. Highly recommended for special family-oriented occasions!

Best place in town for an Asian buffet. The food is great, they always have duck, sushi bar, a customizable udon bar for fresh stirfry , and crab on sunday. The staff is friendly and the kitchen does a wonderful job keeping up. This is what a successful family run business should strive to be. A wonderful experience for my family and me every time.

Food cold. Drinks tasted terrible, root beer was like watered down creme soda, asked for sweet tea twice and was given lemon tea which tasted terrible. Finally settled for pepsi. Went back twice for hopefully hot food, both times it was cold and we had come right when they switched prices for dinner. Not worth the $70 put out for the meals.

I ate there this afternoon with my wife and Im eating fried rice and look down and what you know theres a dead Roach in my rice. Seriously thats really disgusting I almost threw up in my mouth, I told one of the waiters and all they said was "sorry" like it was no big deal. I just got up and left and I will never go back.

The lunch buffet price that includes sushi brought us in the door. If it werent for that price and other "OK" reviews, we might have walked back out. The interior décor was obviously neglected, but the food surfaces were clean and the food was edible ~ not bad for the price, actually.

My very first time stopping here.My opinion is great,delicious and cheap place with wonderful selection of sea food.Place is not perfect looking more like a open kitchen which I really do like it.Just simple place for eat.Miso soup is the best of all buffets Ive been!Great Service!

OMG!!!!TOTALLY AWFUL FOOD the only thing on the buffet that was good was the chicken wings and sushi. The fish was extremely DRY there wasnt any selections. We were wanting to try something different and end up having to buy something else when we left there
