Im disappointed. So many people liked this place and my experience was sub-par. I was grossed out by one of the cooks who had a band aid on his finger, and sat down to eat his rice out of a flour canister. He licked his fingers, jumped up, rang me up and then disappeared in the back. I hope I dont get sick. I hope he didnt prepare my food with slob on his fingertips. It was a small dingy little place. The food was nothing to write home about. I ordered vegetable fried rice and veggie egg rolls. The egg rolls were about the same size as the ones at Panda Express. Very small for a place like this. Usually you get huge egg rolls at authentic Chinese restaurants. I was disappointed. The woks were obviously dirty. That grainy BLACK SOOT that comes out of overused iron skillets was present. I dont normally get upset about it because its iron rich at least. I found a SHRIMP SHELL and **VEIN** in my VEGETABLE FRIED RICE. I would be DEAD if I had a shell fish ALLERGY! I was really hungry so I kept eating the rice anyway. I was upset that I had to pick that stuff out of there. I watched carefully as I ate after that. The rice itself which is usually well seasoned at other restaurants lacked in flavor and tasted almost bland. I found myself drenching it in soy sauce which I never have to do. I cant believe this place got a four star. Its dingy, the kitchen is dark and dingy looking, the cook couldnt count my change (he actually asked me if that was correct change), and my stomach is gurgling now as I finish this post. What a waste, man.

I would be devastated if this place closed. Its the only Chinese take out with the wonderful balance of ethnicity but English speaking. Personal bias: If an ethnic restaurant doesnt have people of that ethnicity working or eating there, it cant be good. However, language does get in the way. Best thing ever is the lunch buffet. For 5.25 or 6.75 you get two or three options off the lunch buffet with fried rice and a soda. Most of these dishes have vegetables and meat, but the most amazing dish is black pepper chicken! Cant find that anywhere else. In the Target parking lot.

I was bragging to my niece about how good this place was. We ordered general chicken, chicken eggfoo young, and sweet n sour chicken. On my nieces plate of food the sweet n sour chicken she jumped she said a bug jumped off my plate. Then on her plate there was two more bugs we brought it in the kitchen. We downloaded the magnifier from her phone in the sweet n sour sauce we seen small black spots. Gross gross it was a bug. What the f*****?? Nasty nasty

My experience was really good! The woman who took my order was very nice & helpful,you can tell the customer is king here. I ordered Beef fried rice and General Tsao Chicken, both of my dishes were a 5 star meal! I was extremely satisfied as this was my 1st time there. The reason I rated it 4-star because the venue was a little small,not much of a dine and wine place. Get it and go and enjoy at home!!

Not to be a jerk but this is not a 4.4 star place. Im not a picky eater and probably have lower standards than most. It is the only Chinese place near me so Ive been here at least 20 times. I can recommend the Singapore noodles the dumplings and spareribs appetizer. Generic stir fry dishes are not very good,once I got one with so much oil in it I just threw it out.. Most of the meat is very low quality.

We have been eating here since it opened and LOVE it! Great value and generous portions. Everything is always cooked perfect and we have never had a messed up order. Plus, the service is excellent. Extremely friendly and easy to converse with. If I had it my way, I would eat their General Tsos chicken combo every day! Only downside....they dont deliver their incredible food!

Some of the best Chinese food in the city! They have excellent lunch specials but prefer to get the food fresh. The shrimp they serve is larger than what you usually get in other restaurants. My favorite is the fried potsticker dumplings. Be sure to check out the menu board or ask for the days specials because those are usually good.

Cheng Wong Restaurant is the Best Chinese Restaurant that I have ever eating Chinese Food from. They have great service, awsome food that is cooked fresh, friendly staff, & their Restaurant is very clean. Their prices are very good too. I highly recommend this place if you want Chinese Food.

Great lunch value. Food is fresh and tasty. Tip from a regular customer: Get there before Noon because that is when their lunchtime rush hits. 1130AM is perfect. Friendly staff.
