I visit a few times a month and I usually am served by the same waitress, which I like because she remembers what I get. In fact, she reminds of my substitutions, if I forget them. I get the same BLT every time. Everyone is friendly there. Once in a great while though I get a not-so-good BLT. The BLT should be called a BLLTT because the bacon is burnt and I get more lettuce than I need and more tomatoes that I need probably to make up for the bad bacon. But its iceberg lettuce with all of its twists and turns and simply will not behave.

This is your typical family-style restaurant. They have a good variety on their menu, and decent prices with food that is in most cases good but not amazing. Service is usually pretty quick with nice waitresses. I would say that there is nothing special about this restaurant, but it is nice to go to when you want a decent complete meal without spending too much.

I tested this diner with an "old faithful", the Patty Melt. Very disappointed. The patty, although Medium as asked, tasted burnt along with everything else cooked there. Needs to be more time spent cleaning the grill. Staff was excellent though so maybe I caught it on an off day.

Was in the area on biz and hit the Hillside for dinner. Excellent menu, plenty of choices, well prepared and friendly service. Its a pleasure to find a place like this for a good sit-down meal instead of the fry pits and chains. A good value and worth a stop if youre nearby.

I like coming here on the weekends for breakfast. They have a great selection and the price is good. Sometimes the waitresses can have a lot of tables so it takes a bit longer to get food, but all places do when they are busy.

Messed up our order - twice. Food tasted toxic. Place is dirty. Overall I would not send my dog to this joint. If the owners had an ounce of class they would put some money back into the business.

The service was friendly, the food was mediocre considering we sat near the kitchen and heard the microwave going off like the stock market and was pricey. Was clean but outdated.

Pleasant atmosphere, have eaten here a couple times. This time bite out a nice chink of plastic in my western omelette. Omelette was replaced but I wont be returning.
