I was in the area and this is the first time I ordered from China Wok at 1159 Bloomingdale Road in Glendale Heights, IL. I ordered Large Shrimp Fried Rice. It was picked up and complete on time. This has to be the nastiest Shrimp Fried Rice I have ever had. The rice was the yellow Spanish rice with a few vegetables in it. It tasted like a regular box of Spanish rice with no flavor. I called back to restaurant and spoke to a lady that said her name was Shirley. I advised her that I was given the Spanish rice and that is not what I ordered and she should give some of my money back. She told me they have been using that yellow ice for over 10 years and nobody complain but me. She kept saying you ask for Fried rice and thats what they have always used and I dont need to come back. After repeatedly advising her Shrimp fried rice is not usually Spanish rice she hung up on me.I will not recommend anyone to eat here. It was very bad service and bad food.

The food was ready quick, but that was honestly the only good part of my experience here. We moved into the area a little while ago and have been searching for a good Chinese place ever since, and after trying China Wok we are definitely still looking. Im not sure what food the positive reviewers had but I just dont see any way it could have been anything from here. The food was just incredibly lack luster all around. A real lack of spices and seasoning, of flavor overall. I did not find it authentic at all. Everything seemed somewhat Americanized. If I were to draw a comparison I would say China Wok is to Chinese food what Taco Bell is to Mexican food. So, if your looking for good Chinese delivery, keep looking.

This is a "Sad Imitation" of "Chinese Food" ! ! I ordered the Beef Tereyaki and the Shrimp Egg Fu Young - also the Chicken on a Stick was HORRIBLE !!!! SO DISAPPOINTED - The so called Beef Tereyaki was made with some type of meat that was not Beef - { I will be checking it out wit an expert to find out what this actually is} It was tough - chewy and Nasty ! ! The Shrimp Egg Foo Young was soooo BLAND - the White Rice was like it was 2 to 3 days OLD as well as the Chicken on the Stick ! ! Never again - Buyers Beware ! ! Go to Chicagos West side to find True Chinese Food ! ! This place deserves a Big Fat Negative ZERO ! !

This is hands down the nastiest Chinese food Ive ever had. I love Chinese food so much so that there was a time in my life I used to eat it everyday. I actually threw this food out after one serving and had to choke that down. Yellow friend rice and the shrimp egg Foo Yung gravy tasted like wet soil. I was so offended by how nasty this food was that I toyed with the idea of putting a sign in their window warning people to avoid this place at all cost. These people have no business being in business. ITS THEEEE NASTIEST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. DAMN NEAR INEDIBLE

Worst "Chinese food" Ive ever had... I ordered crab rangoon. . Literally no crab filling in any of them! It was just deep fried dough... Their rice is yellow and very little flavor... nothing like the normal brown Chinese rice from other places.. way smaller potions and overpriced for what u do get as far as Im concerned... The combination rice I ordered hardly had any meat at all.. MAYBE 2 pieces of shrimp.... The whole point of combination rice is for the different meats in it

Im not picky about food much but the shrimp fried rice is yellow/orange. Weird I could almost pass for Spanish rice I had to add extra soy sauce to get some fried rice flavor but tasted slightly bitter. I dont know about you but if a Decent Chinese place dont know how to make fried rice which is very basic then I would not ever trust them to eat there again best bet is if you are not really set on Chinese try next door Mexican place i l know I wish I would have.

Good food. Fair price however when I order no mushrooms onions or peppers but with extra egg they charged me 50 cents for the extra egg, then they started charging 1 dollar for the egg and I stopped going there. they knew me and what I ordered but that extra dollar charge every time I found disrespectful. food is good though.

I have ordered from here for years and I love the RICE!! It is not greasy unlike most fried rice I have had. If you like that greasy salty rice than this is not for you! Always fresh, fast, and good! Good prices for the amount you get. The lady is always nice. Give them a try.

Very good food and always fresh and hot. I have not had a bad meal yet and we have been going here since they opened, the folks there are always friendly, Great job China Wok!! My favorite: Orange Beef & Sweet n Sour Chicken

Best China Wok Ive been to! Portion size is large and they dont skimp on the ingredients. Everything is jam packed and flavorful. I look forward to my next drive through town, this will be my choice for lunch!
