The other low star reviews give a pretty solid indication of how my experience went. This review is for the people running this establishment. CLEANLINESS SHOULD BE YOUR TOP PRIORITY. Walked in and, first thing I see, man sweeping hundreds of ants into a trash can..I should have walked out right then. The customer should NOT see an insect at a restaurant and NEITHER should the employees. Youre losing return customers with that environment. No way anyone in there right mind is going to eat on the tables inside. Please please please just bleach and sanitize the entire restaurant. Close down for a few days if you have to but clean EVERYTHING. I had food poisoning from the Schezuan Vegetables I ordered. Worst unholy meal of my life.

I ordered over 50.00 in food it was horrible orange chicken no orange-horrible, egg rolls disgusting taste like sorry cabbage , general Tao taste like rubber, combination rice taste burnt, chicken with garlic no garlic sauce to find. The egg drop soup has no flavor at all. The only descent thing was Mongolian Beef it was not great. I reviewed took a chance never again. The only reason I gave it one star because drive was timely and very nice. I would never recommend China Star avoid it if possible. If I could get a refund I would return this garbage which thats exactly where it is going. I will eat bowl of cereal. I love Chinese food this was not authentic anything. Dissatisfied in Naperville

Ordered takeout and it was disgusting. Boyfriend and I ordered szechuan pork barbecue and the szechuan combo, and they were essentially doused in the same sour sauce--NOT spicy at all--but with different meats. The "barbecue " pork tasted old and was too chewy. Both dishes were flavorless save for the same thick, sour sauce. This was really disappointing, and we are not ordering from there again. This is the worst fake Chinese "food" Ive ever had.

BEST crab rangoons west of Chicago. FRESH, hot, tasty Chinese food, with no MSG. FAST and friendly proprietors. HUGE portions. Enough said. First, this place is for to-go or take-out. Decor isnt an issue. There is decent Chinese food available all over Naperville, but this is the best youll find located in an unassuming strip center just east of DT Napes. Weve been back several times and their quality is consistent. Give it a fair try.

Sweet n Sour chicken - 1 star (over cooked, hard breading) Hot n Sour soup - 1 star (bland) Egg Roll - 4 stars Vegetable delight - 4 stars Orange chicken - 0 stars (breading feels like it was made of razor blades and fish bones) Singapore mai fun - 1 star (bland) The gentleman that took my order was very unhelpful over the phone and charged me for an extra small chicken fried rice after trying to use their coupon.

I read the bad reviews prior to ordering and figured Id still give this place a chance. Bad decision, my wife is puking as I type and my stomach feels like crap. Everything we ordered went into the garbage can after only tasting the stuff we ordered.

This place is terrible.... They messed up my order. Sent me the wrong food and then the food we did get was nasty. Ended up with food poisening!! Do yourself a favor and dont eat here.

Weve tried a few chinese restaurants around town and this is the best so far. The Chow Mee Fun is delicious.
