After seeing such a high rating on Google, we wanted to try it. The staff were friendly, but as others have said, dont expect stellar service. I ordered a chicken taco dinner that came with 3 tacos, rice and beans for around $9 which was reasonably priced. They only put meat, lettuce and tomato on the tacos, so be prepared to pay an upcharge for cheese if youre into that kind of thing. Literally my first bite into a taco, was over an inch long, sharp chicken bone. Completely disgusting! The chicken was what Im assuming was supposed to be of the shredded variety, but was very fatty and had the consistency of cat food. Parts of it were "blackened" or charred to the point of being so burnt it was nearly impossible to chew, which is why Im assuming whoever assembled these tacos didnt notice the large piece of bone. I dumped all the chicken off the tacos and made my own with the rice and beans. Even my husband who is a human garbage disposal said the chicken was gross. Im not one to send food back, it should be edible the first time it comes out. Ive eaten at dozens of restaurants and never nearly swallowed a bone. That was our first and last visit. If you decide to go, avoid the chicken.

Usualmente invito a comer a mis amigos a este lugar sólo que...la ultima vez que fui a comer quizás no era el mejor día ya que lo que pedí del menú, no lo tenían aparte me hicieron esperar mucho tiempo y eso que no había gente. No me gustó el trato de las meseras , muy déspotas y nada serviciales! :(

I love the place, the authenticity and flavor of their menu makes them a place to go when I want to show off my heritage with my friends. Youll find here real Mexican food, no sweet tortillas with sweet "hot" sauce. If you are into meat try the "carne asada" and the carnitas... and dont forget the choriqueso!!!! OMG!

Best carnitas around the area without having to go too far. Also the salsas they have are legit! Service is great and staff is friendly. Good micheladas! Taquitos are a surprise starter, very good!

Terrible , no flavor ,expensive....rather drive 30 min to 18th street and have real carnitas for $10 you get a pound plus tortillas, salsa, chips etc.. this place sucks
