I had high hopes for this place and was not disappointed. It is small, only about 2 tables to eat in, so plan to carry out. The customer service was superb. The staff is friendly, efficient and accommodating but slow. When I visited, I called in my order in advance and still had to wait about 20 minutes after I got there to get my order so I dont know that there is any advantage to calling ahead. The tips are meaty, well seasoned and smokey, the links were above average. Sauce was a little on the sweet side for me as I tend to like the savory/tangy style sauces but it didnt stop me from devouring my order. Good source for your BBQ fix, I bypass at least 2 bbq closer restaurants to get to this place and it is well worth the trip for me. Try their sides, delicious.

When I moved to the area, I was looking for a dry cleaner and just stumbled onto this place. Im glad i did. Ive been coming here ever since. The ribs and hot links are spectacular. I now go at least once per week and I highly recommend their food. The prices are a little higher but you get a large quantity and it tastes great. In addition, the owners and other employees always welcome you as if you are part of the family. Pros: great tasting, large portion size, great customer focus, clean environment, friendly staff, easy access to owners, open concept so you see food cooking, large variety of menu items, great specials Cons: sort of pricey In summary, I highly recommend this place. I used to patronize Kennys Ribs in Matteson because they were basically the only BBQ place close to home. I decided a couple of months ago to stop supporting them due to terrible service, poor quality food, and outrageous prices. Well, look out....theres a new sheriff in town! Ribs and Soul BBQ in Country Club Hills is the REAL deal! Great service, great food, reasonable prices. They even provide toilettes to clean your hands! Plus, a free pop for orders over a certain dollar amount. I found them by accident but theyre my new choice for getting good BBQ. Anyone disappointed in the experiences youve had at Kennys, treat yourself and check this place out. You wont regret it.

The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the food is great. The service is great. The only problem is they dont always open on the days that they say their supposed to be open. Its like they dont take it into consideration that we as their customers dont like being told their open on Wednesday from 12pm til 9pm yet I call at 1pm and no one answers the phone. Waste my gas going up there and their closed. People always asking why I dont really support black companies or businesses and this is a prime reason. Babas right next door and I rather spend my money their because their always opened at their specified times.

Called in my order, it was ready when my husband got there. Sauce was good just has no kick they should add a little cayenne pepper to their recipe. The tips had flavor but was a bit bony...I will go again. Not a lot of choices out here so they rank above the rest. Ordered two large tip and they gave a lot in both orders good fries too.

Everything was good...i had the fish.. they cook the food as it gets ordered so I had no problem waiting a little longer and the owner also explained this to me...i would rather wait to get a hot meal...portion sizes were above average...overall I had a good experience here.

Tips a lil tough, links are good, sauce is ok, I come from a long line of BBQ cooks, they might need to lower the heat in the pit, and cook a little slower, let the heat catch up with the meat.
