I frequently order carry-out from here, and at first it was due to the convenience factor being basically unbeatable. After trying a couple of different places in the area that offer similar options, I will keep ordering from Vito & Angelos. Not only are their dishes almost always on point (no ones perfect, Ive only had one or two nominal complaints), generously portioned, and most importantly really effing good... but the family who owns and runs the spot (...you guys are a family, right? lol...) are always really cool and polite & I want to support good people like them. Plus one of the ladies up front is always sure to open the door for me on the way out & as ny hands are inevitably full of yum, this is a very appreciated gesture that I love. Even though starting today Chicago begins their really, really lame tax on sweetened beverages/sugary beverages/everything you touch & look at/the air/you soul and this tax now means that at Vito & Angelos you will no longer get a free 2 liter with a purchase of @ least $10, and even though theres other places around that may be priced lower, I would rather pay a little more for the quality and consistency thats less than a block from my bed. The end.

Ive been in this neighborhood for 35 years and have seen many changes with Vito and Angelos. This place always had good food and great customer service,but it seems the new management has forgotten about the customer service end of the buisness.I mean every time I call you hear the girls laughing and talking to each other while they are taking your order. This is why they make so many mistakes taking customers orders and the manager couldnt care less. Unfortunately this has disappointed me once to often. Festa Pizza is only a block away and they actually have slices of pizza for sale so you dont have to order a whole pizza if you dont want to and the pizza is great so is the customer service.Delivery is also very fast . Festa is definitely my new go to spot. Maybe Vitos can hire some professional customer service reps before they continue to loose more customers.

My family has been ordering since the late 80s, early 90s, and remain loyal customers because the pizza is that good. Theyve only messed up my order once, and that was for the superbowl, it was understandable. Every time I have company over, and they ask where I get the pizza from, I refer them to Vitos. Ive converted people to Vito s from Congress pizza on Milwaukee. Only reason I give a 4 star rating at the moment, is because I recently had ordered two stadium size pizzas, 2 toppings each, but I paid $77. Ouch! My pockets felt it; usually they offer a free 2 liter with XL pizzas but they stopped that recently, and I didnt get it the time I ordered the 2 stadium size pizzas. The pizza was still good, but I understand its a business, hopefully the prices wont keep going up. *fingers crossed*

On 10.12.15, I called in for delivery at around 5:30pm. My gf and I did not receive our pizza until 7:20 ish... No real explanation either. Asked delivery man, "so whos at fault, you or kitchen?" He said idk, call restaurant, Lotta orders. Sucks, to have to wait this long for pizza on a Sunday without an apology. Nonetheless probably wont order again. Pizza is good but just be real and honest with a customer when you are backed up like crazy. Simple.

They need new employees. I ordered pizza over the phone, said deep dish pizza 5 times and she repeated my order. I even did carryout so there would be no driver issues. Still gave me a regular pizza at pick up, I went back to complain and they said I would have to pay the difference for deep dish and wait another 45 min. I love the deep dish but they make it too complicated to get my food and I shouldnt be charged for their mess up.

Weve eaten from here twice. The pizza is really cheesy and good. Its middle of the road in terms of price for a cheese pizza, but the extra toppings are a little costly (something like $2.25 each on a large). It comes with a free two liter, but last time they didnt ask us what type we wanted and just brought an RC cola. The drivers and the person answering the phone have been cool.

Ive been ordering pizza from here since 1989. Love the pizzas but, the customer service can be improved on. I know they tend to get busy but when you call an order in they treat you as if you didnt speak English, Spanish or as if you just dont understand makes me want to not be nice. Dont lose your customers lose the attitude.

Ordered a salad & chicken nuggets, took them 45 minutes to deliver. I did not recieve the salad & when i called they would only offer me a credit. No apology, very ignorant, & rude. Had to drive there to get my money back. I received almost a dollar in nickels. Will definitely not order again.

Great Pizza, rude customer service... ladies taking the order have a ugly attitude like if they were on the street or at home... I go back because the pizza is great but those ladies need to loose the attitude before the pizzeria loose its customers...

Ordered eggplant Parmesan, fries and fried zucchini. Didnt get the zucchini and eggplant Parmesan was inedible. Tasted like rubber. Dont waste your money on this location. Would rate it zero stars if I could.

The neighborhood of Humboldt Park is nothing without Vito Angelos Pizza. It is an institution the way the Mona Lisa is to the Lourve in Paris. I love this place and will love it forever.

Very decent pizza. Im not sure if its gluten free or not. I have a wheat and soy allergy I do not get sick.
